Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an air suction adjusting device provided in an air flow pipe of a household vacuum cleaner, and more particularly, to an air suction adjusting device held by a user. The present invention relates to improvement of a hose portion of a vacuum cleaner to be used. 2. Description of the Related Art Problems and Solutions to the Related Art The structure of a conventional household vacuum cleaner will be described with reference to FIG. 3. Reference numeral 1 denotes a vacuum cleaner as a whole, 1a a vacuum cleaner body, and suction therein. Motor is installed. 1b is a power cord, 1c
Is a bellows tube, 1d is a hand-held switch, 1e is a bent tube, 1
f is an extension tube, and 1 g is a suction nozzle (suction end), which is usually attached to a floor or a carpet for cleaning. 1h is an air lid.
1i is a similar suction nozzle, but is attached when cleaning a narrow place. As will be mentioned later, the device of the present invention is 1d and 1e
During this time, it is preferable to mount it at the position indicated by X in FIG. [0003] In the case of cleaning the carpet with the nozzle (suction end) 1g attached to the vacuum cleaner of FIG. Close and clean. A common phenomenon in this case is that the nozzle sticks to the carpet and does not leave. The carpet surface blocks the suction surface of the nozzle. However, if the air lid 1h is opened and used, the suction force is insufficient. When the sticking phenomenon occurs, it is necessary for the user to separate by force or operate the switch 1d to stop the suction motor once to eliminate the sticking. However, interruption of cleaning is not desirable. "Salvation" of such troubles has been long desired. Also 1g of vacuum cleaner nozzle
If it hits something like a polyethylene bag that had been thrown away, the nozzle would be blocked as well, causing a problem. [0005] As a solution to the above-mentioned troubles, the air suction pipe (flow pipe) is closed at a stroke and external air is taken in.
Means for eliminating the abnormal suction load have been considered, but such means have not solved the conventional problems. That is, if the cause is a polyethylene bag as described above, it is necessary to pull the polyethylene bag to the user side and treat it as a foreign substance that cannot be processed by a vacuum cleaner. That is, it is desirable to bring the object caught on the nozzle closer without releasing it. Therefore,
First, it is necessary to realize a state in which the suction force is reduced so that the nozzle blockage can be moved without releasing. If the suction force is not reduced to a certain extent, the motor continues to run idle, causing a problem of shortening the life of the motor. Next, the cause of the nozzle blockage is known (for example, the same applies to the case where the nozzle is simply pulled apart by sucking on the carpet surface described above). At the same time, it is necessary to close the nozzle and send external air to the inside of the nozzle to restore the suction negative pressure to normal pressure. [0007] When the operation of such two steps, that is, the suction of the air containing dust is stopped, first, the side of the flow tube is automatically opened slightly to keep the suction force of the nozzle low. And then manually closing the flow tubes completely (eliminating the obstruction) and recovering the suction negative pressure early. The present invention is intended to answer this technical problem, examples shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, illustrating the present invention. FIG. 1A shows a switch 1 of FIG.
FIG. 3 is a conceptual diagram assuming that the device of the present invention is placed at a position next to d (the position indicated by “X” in FIG. 1). That is, the device of the present invention is a tubular joint having a square cross section as the central portion 10a.
It has a cylindrical joint 10b at both ends. Reference numeral 11 denotes an opening / closing lid (the reason why there are two 11 will be described later), and 12 indicates a rotation axis of the opening / closing lid (described later). FIG. 1B is a perspective view of a spring for rotating and stopping the opening / closing lid 11, wherein 12 is a spring shaft, 12a and 12b are spring branches, and 12c is a coil portion of a wire.
2 penetrates through the coil portions 12c (there are two) to be rotatable. 12a rotates in close contact with the back surface of the opening / closing lid,
2b gives repulsion. FIG. 1C shows a manual rib provided on the upper side of the side surface of the central portion 10, but the description will be given later. FIG. 2 is a schematic longitudinal sectional view of the apparatus of the present invention.
FIG. 2A shows a state in which the opening / closing lid 11 forms a flow tube side surface, and a normal air flow is created in the flow tube. FIG. FIG. 2C shows a state in which the open / close lid is forcibly pushed down, only external air is introduced, and the flow tube is closed. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the adjusting device 10 of the present invention has a shape in which a cylindrical joint portion 10b is attached to both ends of a central portion 10a of a quadrangular prism. Reference numeral 12 denotes a spring as a representative and serves as a rotation axis of the spring traversing the central portion 10a. Reference numerals 12a and 12b denote spring portions protruding from the rotating shaft 12, and the spring force
The opening / closing lid 11 integrated with a is usually a part of the side surface of the air flow tube (FIG. 2A). Due to a change in the suction load (the suction nozzle is assumed to be farther to the left in the drawing), it is slightly rotated clockwise about the rotation shaft 12 to be in a half-open state (FIG. 2B). Then, the inclined opening / closing lid 11 can be pressed with, for example, a finger to bring the lid right end 11b into contact with the bottom surface of the central portion 10a (FIG. 2C). Two numbers 11 in FIG.
Indicates the position of the open / close lid 11 in FIGS. 2A and 2C. In FIG. 2, reference numeral 11a denotes a portion on the right side of the pivot point 12 of the cover 11, and reference numeral 11b denotes a portion on the left side of the pivot point 12. As can be seen from the illustration, the right part 11
a is longer than the left part 11b. Reference numeral 11c denotes a claw-shaped bias cut at the right end of the opening / closing lid, which normally serves to prevent air leakage (FIG. 2A). 11d is the left end of the opening / closing lid, which is bias-cut like a claw like the right end,
The operation is the same as in the case of 11c. The knob 15 in FIG. 2A is optional and is convenient for the forced closure shown in FIG. 2C. However, the knob 15 is shown only in FIG. 2A, is omitted in other drawings, and the finger 16 is shown instead in FIG. 2C. Knob 1 shown in FIG. 1C
Reference numerals 7 and 17a are other examples of knobs, and are assumed to be provided on the upper side of the side surface of the central portion 10. The arrows shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 indicate the flow of air, but the meaning of the arrows is self-evident, and the description is omitted. In the above description, the central portion 10 is an example of a cylinder having a square cross section. However, this can be modified such that the cross section is circular and the rotating lid is made elliptical in accordance with it. This is within the purview of those skilled in the art.
