Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a push-push type card connector in which a card can be inserted into and ejected from a connector by repeating a push operation. About. 2. Description of the Related Art In a card connector described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 10-31854, insertion and ejection of a card from a connector are performed by repeating a push operation. Further, a heart-shaped cam mechanism is employed to lock a state where the card is fitted to the connector. The main points of this card connector will be described. The card connector includes a body, a frame fixed to the body, a slider that slides on the frame when the card is inserted and ejected, and on which the card is placed, and a heart-shaped cam mechanism provided on the slider. And a detection switch provided on the body for detecting the fitting of the card to the connector. The detection switch is operably attached so that the pin body can open and close the detection switch and can lock the cam mechanism of the slider. When the slider is inserted into the connector and the card is mated with the connector, the pin body engages with the branch point of the cam mechanism to lock the slider and bring the movable contact of the detection switch into contact with the fixed contact. [0004] In the conventional card connector, the pin body for locking the slider and the mounting structure thereof are complicated, and the number of parts is large. As a result, the connector is downsized. Has become a hindrance. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to improve the drawbacks of the conventional card connector and to provide a push-push card connector having a simple structure and a small number of parts. [0006] The present invention employs the following means to solve the above-mentioned problems. [0007] an insulator, a contact fixed to the insulator, and a movable plate which is mounted on the insulator, and a spring for always urges the movable plate to a discharge direction of the card, and the movable plate
Guide pin having elasticity are integrally formed, the other end of said guide pin having one end fixed to the movable plate,
The movable plate is formed at a free end and guided on one surface of the insulator along a circulating guide rail of a cam mechanism provided on the insulator, and the movable plate moves by inserting the card into a connector. Locked by a cam mechanism, the card is in electrical contact with the contact, and the card is pushed into the connector, whereby the movable plate is moved in the ejection direction by the urging force of the spring, and the card is moved from the connector. Ejected push-push card connector. A push-push card connector according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the connector, and FIG.
Is a perspective view of the connector in an assembled state, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a movable plate. The connector 1 includes an insulator 2, a plurality of contacts 3 fixed to the insulator 2, a movable plate 4 mounted on the insulator 2, and a coil spring 5 for constantly biasing the movable plate 4 in a discharge direction. It is composed of A mechanism for moving and locking the movable plate 4 (described later) is configured between the insulator 2 and the movable plate 4, and a multimedia card (hereinafter, referred to as a “card”) 11 is inserted into the connector 1. And is discharged from the connector 1. The individual components will be described in detail. The insulator 2 is made of synthetic resin, and a cam mechanism 2C (described later) is formed on the upper surface thereof. Contact 3
Has a convex curved contact portion 3A at one end and an L-shaped contact portion 3B at the other end. The movable plate 4 is made of a flat metal plate, and is punched and bent by a press to make the card abutment portion 4 contact the movable plate 4.
A, an elastic guide pin 4B and a coil spring engaging portion 4C are integrally formed. The tip 4B1 of the guide pin 4B is bent at a right angle and projects downward from the punched hole 4D of the movable plate 4. The coil spring 5 is housed in a long hole 2A formed in the insulator 2, and one end of the coil spring 5 is locked by a locking pin 2B fixed to one end of the long hole 2A. The end is locked to the coil spring locking portion 4C of the movable plate 4 at the other end of the elongated hole 2A. FIG. 4 shows a design change example of one of the guide pins. That is, in the guide pin 4B shown in FIG. 3, only the tip 4B1 protrudes downward from the punched hole 4D of the movable plate 4, but the guide pin 4E shown in FIG.
Project from the punched hole 4D downward. The movement and lock mechanism of the movable plate 4 will be described with reference to FIGS. Insulator 2
Is integrally formed with a heart-shaped cam mechanism 2C. The cam mechanism 2C includes a tip 4B1 of the guide pin 4B.
(The same applies to the above-mentioned example of design change.), A guide portion inclined with respect to the moving direction of the movable plate 4, a heart-shaped concave shape, and a guide portion parallel to the moving direction of the movable plate 4. And a ending point of the tip 4B1 of the guide pin 4B, that is, a starting point, to form a circulating guide rail (groove). In the free state, the tip 4B1 of the guide pin 4B is urged in the direction of the arrow in FIG. The insertion and ejection (withdrawal) of the card 11 from the connector 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. First, FIG. 5A shows a free state in which a part of the card 11 is inserted into the connector 1, and the tip 4B1 of the guide pin 4B is located at the starting point of the cam mechanism 2C. Next, FIG. 5B shows that the card 11 is pushed into the connector 1, and the leading end of the card 11 abuts against the card butting portion 4 A of the movable plate 4. Are in the middle of moving into the connector 1 while resisting the tensile force of the coil spring 5, and the distal end 4B of the guide pin 4B.
Reference numeral 1 is located at a guide portion inclined with respect to the moving direction of the movable plate 4 in the cam mechanism 2C. Subsequently, after pushing the card 11 to the maximum stroke, if the pushing is stopped, the card 1
1 and the movable plate 4 are slightly returned by the tensile force of the coil spring 5 to reach the state shown in FIG. FIG.
(C) is a fitting state in which the plurality of pads 11A of the card 11 are in contact with the respective convex curved contact portions 3A of the plurality of contacts 3, and the tip 4B1 of the guide pin 4B is
It is located immersed in the heart-shaped concave portion of C. Thus, the fitting operation of the card 11 is completed. When the card 11 is pushed again to the maximum stroke and the push is stopped, the tip 4B1 of the guide pin 4B escapes from the heart-shaped recess of the cam mechanism 2C and moves in the moving direction of the movable plate 4. Through a parallel guide part to the end point, ie the starting point. The card 11 and the movable plate 4 reach the state of FIG. 5E through the state of FIG. 5D due to the tensile force of the coil spring 5. Thus, the ejection operation of the card 11 is completed. As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the following push-push type card connector can be obtained since the movable plate is provided with the elastic guide pins. . 1. It has a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, has a small number of parts, and is inexpensive. 2. The size of the card connector can be reduced. 3. Easy assembly and disassembly.
