【発明の詳細な説明】 【0001】 【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、ワイヤーハーネス電線
や配管などを車両などのパネル孔に対して、L字状に挿
通、固定するために使用するグロメットの改良に関する
ものである。 【0002】 【従来技術】自動車などにおいて、車体のパネルからリ
ード線などのワイヤーハーネスを引き出す際には、パネ
ルに設けた引出し孔にグロメットを取り付け、このグロ
メットを介してワイヤーハーネスを挿通することによ
り、ワイヤーハーネスの保護を図るとともに、防音、防
水も行っている。そして、このワイヤーハーネスをパネ
ル面や障害物と干渉させないようにすること、また、ワ
イヤーハーネスの挿通性をよくすることが必要である。
そのため、パネルの部分でL字状に屈曲させてワイヤー
ハーネスを固定することが必要になる場合がある。 【0003】ワイヤーハーネスをパネルの挿通部分でL
字状に屈曲させて固定させる従来のグロメットには、以
下のようなものがある。即ち、 1)図5(a)、(b)は、それぞれグロメットの平面
図およびX−X断面図である。ゴムあるいは軟質の樹脂
からなるグロメット1は、基部2と線条体集束部3が連
設されて一体になったものである。基部2の上端部には
突起部材4が突設され、突起部材4には線条体集束部3
が挿通できる孔であって、前記線条体集束部3を係止す
る孔状係止部材5aが穿設されている。図6により、こ
のグロメット1の使用方法を説明すると、予め突起部材
4に設けられた孔状係止部材5aに線条体集束部3を通
し、線条体集束部3にL字状の屈曲を与えた後、線条体
7を線条体集束部3に挿通してテープなどで固定する。

め所定の湾曲形状に一体成形されており、線状体13を
固定するように寸法決めされて、グロメット本体16に
挿入される。そうして、上記筒体17の外周面に突設さ
れた突起17aにより、該筒体17は上記グロメット1
6に対して係止されている。11はパネル、12は貫通
部である(公開実用新案公報平成1−150418号参
照)。 【0005】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、上述の
グロメットには次のような問題があった。 1)に述べたグロメット1では、孔状係止部材5aが一
体成形されているため、L字状の曲げ固定方向の範囲が
限定される。また、L字状に曲げた状態で線条体集束部
3に線条体7を挿通するため、挿通の作業性が極めて低
い。 2)に述べたグロメット16においても、筒体17は、
予めL字状に一体成形されているため、線条体13を筒
体17に挿通する作業性や、パネル11にグロメット1
6を取り付ける作業性が悪い。また、グロメット16の
曲げ方向に規制があり、L字状の曲げ固定方向の範囲が
限定される。以上述べたように、従来のL字状の曲げを
有するグロメットでは、作業性が悪く、また、曲げの方
向性に制約があった。 【0006】 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は上記問題点を解
決したグロメットを提供するもので、肉厚周壁からなる
基部に、可撓性を有する狭小筒部からなる線条体集束部
を連設してなるグロメット本体と、前記グロメット本体
に取り付ける留め具とを備え、前記グロメット本体は、
前記基部またはその近傍に環状溝を有し、前記留め具
は、前記環状溝に嵌め込まれる環状部と、前記線条体集
束部を曲げた状態で保持する保持部を有することを特徴
とする。 【0007】 【作用】本発明によれば、線条体を真っ直ぐな状態の線
条体集束部に挿通した後、可撓性を有する線条体集束部
を留め具により曲げて保持することができるため、線条
体を容易に線条体集束部に挿通することができる。ま
た、グロメットを被装着板に装着した後に、上述の線条
体の挿通作業を行うこともできる。さらに、留め具の環
状部を基部の環状溝の沿って回すことにより保持部の位
置を変えて、線条体集束部の曲げ方向を変えることがで

を詳細に説明する。図1は、本発明にかかるグロメット
の一実施例のゴム製グロメット本体21の側面図であ

(d)は、スチール製のバネ性を有する線状体に曲げ加
工を施して形成した留め具26の背面図、平面図、側面

を保持する半円状をなす保持部、28は環状部である。 【0009】図3(a)〜(c)は、グロメット本体2
1に留め具26を取り付けて、線条体集束部24を曲げ
た状態を示す平面図、側面図および正面図である。この
取り付けは以下のように行う。即ち、ワイヤーハーネス
からなる線状体29を直線状の線条体集束部24に挿入
した後、留め具26の保持部27を線条体集束部24に
嵌め込み、可撓性を有する線条体集束部24をL字状に
曲げる。次いで、留め具26の環状部28をグロメット
本体21の環状溝23に両側から挟むように嵌め込ん
で、留め具26をグロメット本体21に固定する。本実
施例では、環状部28を環状溝23に沿って回すことに
より保持部27の方向を変えることができるので、線条
体集束部24の曲げ方向も変えることができる。なお、
本実施例において、留め具26の環状部28は図4
(a)〜(d)に示すように、ナイロン、ポリプロピレ
ンなどの樹脂製の帯状物でもよい。この場合には、留め
具26の環状部28の幅に応じて環状溝23の幅を広く

厚周壁からなる基部に、可撓性を有する狭小筒部からな
る線条体集束部を連設してなるグロメット本体と、前記
グロメット本体に取り付ける留め具とを備え、前記グロ
メット本体は、前記基部またはその近傍に環状溝を有
し、前記留め具は、前記環状溝に嵌め込まれる環状部
と、前記線条体集束部を曲げた状態で保持する保持部を
有しているので、線条体を真っ直ぐな状態の線条体集束
部に挿通した後、可撓性を有する線条体集束部を留め具
によりL字状に曲げて保持することができるため、線条
体を容易に線条体集束部に挿通することができ、また、
留め具の環状部を基部の環状溝に沿って回すことにより
保持部の位置を変えて、線条体集束部の曲げ方向を変え
ることができるという優れた効果がある。
