【発明の詳細な説明】

【発明の属する分野】本発明は、家具等の側面に押し当
てることにより家具等を壁面に固定する転倒防止具に関
するものである。

【従来の技術】従来の転倒防止具としては、例えば、壁
面の前に配設した戸棚・冷蔵庫等の家具の上側面と天井
面との間に押込み、その両端部の作用で地震等により生
ずる家具の揺れを抑止するようにした桿材や壁面の前に
配設した戸棚・冷蔵庫等の家具の側面に作用させて家具
の揺れを抑止すべく壁面・床面等にビス止めしたアング
ル材等が知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記従来の家具等の転
倒防止具において、押込みによって転倒を防止する桿材
にあっては、その桿材の作用部位が高所であることから
作業性が悪く、他方の、アングル材を採用する場合に
は、その固着後の位置調整が困難になっており、しか
も、これら両転倒防止具には家具等との直結手段が具備
されおらず、家具等を固定する力が劣るものであった。
【0004】本発明は、このような従来の転倒防止具の
有する問題に鑑みてなされたもので、如何なる利用者で
あってもその取り付けが確実、かつ簡単に行われ、家具
等を損傷することなく強固に固定できる転倒防止具を提
供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、折り畳み自在
の桿材の適宜箇所に付着体を設け、この付着体を介して
桿材を家具の側面に固定し、家具の転倒を防止するよう
にした家具等の転倒防止具である。
【0006】本発明の具体的解決手段は以下の通りであ
る。
【0007】(1)一端に回動自在な枢着部を有すると
ともに適宜箇所に磁石を固定した桿部材と、該桿部材を
回動自在に枢着するとともに壁面に取り付け可能とした
支持部材と、から構成され、壁面に取り付けられた前記
支持部材から起立させた前記桿部材を戸棚・冷蔵庫等の
家具の側面に適合させて、前記桿部材に固定した前記磁
石を介して前記桿部材と前記家具の側面とを連結し、家
具の転倒を防止するようにした家具等の転倒防止具であ
り、家具の交換作業時等には障害とはならない畳み機能
を備えた桿材を安価に提供し得るものである。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、図面により本発明の実施形
態について説明する。図1は、本発明の桿材Aの平面図
であり、桿材Aは、家具等に作用する桿部材1とこの桿
部材1を枢着するとともに壁面に固着される支持部材9
とで形成される。
【0009】前記桿部材1は、例えば、非磁性ステンレ
ススチール製の角管が採用され、磁石3、3を固着すべ
く角管の一側に複数個の貫通孔2が備えられ、かつ、該
角管の一端を枢着部4となした構造となっている。他
方、前記支持部材9は一対のアングル5、5を、例えば
ビス7、7で一体にした支持板6と枢支ピン8とからな
り、前記支持板6の裏面には複数個の磁石10、10が
固着されており、この磁石10、10により壁面での固
着位置の調整を可能にしている。
【0010】図2は前記図1とは異なる桿材A′の実施
形態を示し、支持部材9′を壁面Cに例えばビス13、
13止めした当て板11上に接着材12により固着する
例であり、コストの低減化を図ったものである。
【0011】図3は、上述した構成からなる桿材A、
A′を家具の一種である冷蔵庫Bに適用して、その転倒
を防止する態様を示している。
【0012】前記桿材A、A′の適用にあたっては、予
め、壁面Cの所定部位にスチール製等の当て板11をビ
ス13、13等で取り付けておき、前記壁面Cの前に冷
蔵庫Bを配設する。
【0013】次ぎに、桿材A、A′を、その一構成体で
ある支持部材9、9′を当て板11に固着して取り付け
たあと、枢着ピン5を介して桿部材1を枢動して冷蔵庫
Bの側面に押し当てる。この押し当てられた桿部材1
は、既設の磁石3、3が冷蔵庫Bにおける磁性材からな
る外函に付着することにより、冷蔵庫Bを側面から押さ
えることとなる。
【0014】このように設置された冷蔵庫等Bに地震等
による揺れが付与された場合には、冷蔵庫等Bには壁面
Cおよび床面Dの摩擦力と桿材A、A′の桿部材1およ
び支持部材9、9′の固着力とが作用することとなり、
冷蔵庫等Bは転倒することがない。
【0015】上記桿部材1は壁面Cに対して起伏自在で
あるから、家具等の転倒防止が不必要な場合には壁面C
に伏せておくことにより、室内の遊び空間を確保し得
る。
【0016】なお、裏面に複数個の磁石10、10が固
着され支持部材9を備えた桿材Aの使用に際し、磁性材
からなる壁面Cにあっては、当て板11を固着する必要
性は適宜考慮されれば良いことであり、また、転倒防止
対象の家具が例えば、木製である場合には、この家具の
所定箇所に磁性材を固着して適用すれば良い。更に、非
磁性ステンレススチール製の角管により桿部材1を構成
しているが、その素材は木材、合成樹脂等も採用可能で
あり、その形状も種々選択可能であることは言うまでも

【発明の効果】以上のとおりの構造である本発明の桿材
は、極めて簡易な形体であるから、利用者にとってはそ
の取扱いが確実、かつ簡単に行われ、しかも家具等を損
傷することなく強固に固定し得る結果、地震等の揺れに
対してその転倒を防止することができる優れた転倒防止
