合には、上下の電話機ケースの分解作業を行わずに、電
話機上ケースに設けた切欠内に嵌合されている操作ボタ
ンユニットを電話機下ケースに設けた操作ボタンユニッ
トの着脱用の作業穴を用いて取り外し、所望の操作ボタ
ン数に変更した操作ボタンユニットを前記切欠内に嵌合
して前記作業穴を用いて固定することにより、極めて容
易に仕様変更作業を行うことができる。したがって、ユ
ーザは電話機を買い替える必要はなくなって経済的負担
が軽減され、サービス向上になる。また、不要かつ動作
しない操作ボタンが生じないので、上記誤操作や故障の
誤判断もなくなる。なお、前記作業穴を覆う薄膜または
スリット入り円板を前記下ケースに一体成形し、該薄膜
またはスリット入り円板を外部から抜き落とし得るよう
にすれば、工場出荷時点では使用していない作業穴や電
話機内部の部品、ネジ等が外部から見えなくなるので、
さらに好ましい。

ースの表面に各種電話サービスに応じた操作ボタンを具
える電話機において、 前記電話機上ケースに切欠を設けてその中に操作ボタン
数を変更し得る操作ボタンユニットを収容し、前記電話
機下ケースに作業穴を設けてその作業穴を介して前記操
作ボタンユニット外部から着脱し得るようにしたことを
特徴とする、電話機の操作ボタン実装構造。
