The wound sheet roll R thus obtained is subjected to various secondary processes such as hot press molding, or is shipped as a product in a roll form. After the S is used up, the paper tube P remains. However, such a paper tube
It is used not only for the synthetic resin sheet described above, but also for the core when winding various sheet materials, and its consumption is extremely large, but the paper tube is passed through the shaft of the unwinder during secondary processing. It is difficult to collect used items and re-use them because they may be crushed at the end of the paper tube during transportation or product display, resulting in defects such as crushing, distortion and scratches. . Therefore, at present, almost all of the huge amount of used paper tubes is incinerated, but this is a big problem from the viewpoint of resource saving, and it is also a great waste in terms of cost. Depending on the adhesive components used, harmful substances such as dioxins may be generated during incineration, which may cause environmental pollution.

In the sheet winding method of the first embodiment, the winding shaft 2 in which the cleaving tubular material 7A fitted and inserted as described above is expanded is mounted on the winding machine 1, and the winding shaft 2 is attached to the winding shaft 2. The end portion of the sheet S continuously fed from an extrusion sheet molding machine (not shown) or the like is wound up, and the winding shaft 2 is rotationally driven, so that the sheet S is wound via the one guide roll 5. It is wound directly on the cleaving cylinder material 7A. Then, when the predetermined winding amount is reached, the supplied sheet S is cut to stop the rotation of the winding shaft 2, and the end of the cut sheet S is wound with an adhesive tape 16 (see FIG. 11) or the like. After being fastened to the peripheral surface of the roll R, the winding shaft 2 is removed from the winding machine 1 and the air in the rubber tube 22 is exhausted from the air outlet 24. As a result, the lug protrusion 22a
.. retreats and the cleaving cylinder material 7A is reduced in diameter to its original state by the elastic restoring force, so that a gap is formed between the center hole H of the wound sheet roll R and the outer periphery of the cleaving cylinder material 7A. The wound sheet roll R can be easily pulled out from the winding shaft 2.
The wound sheet roll R thus obtained is a wound product of the sheet S alone without a paper tube. Further, the fitting member 7A is used for the next winding while being attached to the winding shaft 2.

According to the tenth aspect of the present invention, in the sheet winding method, an air inlet having an automatic closing function plug made of a check valve is provided on the circumferential surface side of the winding shaft, and the winding is performed separately. On the end face side of the shaft, there is also provided an air outlet having an automatic closing function plug, which is also a check valve. As a result, in the field work, since the air inlet is provided on the side of the winding shaft, it is possible to easily operate the automatic closing function plug of the air inlet to introduce compressed air to the winding shaft. In addition, since the air outlet is provided on the end face side of the winding shaft, the end face of the winding shaft is naturally covered with the bearing side during the winding operation, which unexpectedly causes the air outlet port to be covered. There is no possibility that external force will come into contact with the plug of the automatic closing function and the compressed air will leak from the air outlet, which will not interfere with the winding operation of the wound sheet roll R, and from the winding shaft after completion of the winding operation. The compressed air can be discharged efficiently and easily.
