Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an image reading apparatus such as a scanner, a copying machine, a facsimile, etc., which is equipped with a sheet-through type ADF. 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a document reading apparatus that prevents paper dust and the like of a document from entering the inside of the apparatus body when reading. 2. Description of the Related Art In the case of an image reading apparatus as described above, for example, a scanner 2 equipped with a sheet-through type ADF 1 as shown in FIGS. Is moved and the original is fixed and read on the contact glass 4a on the book reading side, and the original 6 mounted on the paper feed unit 5 of the ADF 1 with the scanning device 3 fixed on the contact glass 4b on the ADF reading side. In the case of the ADF mode, the document 6 may be rubbed against the document guide 7 or the like to generate paper dust.
When the paper dust enters the inside of the apparatus main body and adheres to the mirror 8 of the scanning device 3 and other optical systems, a streak may appear on a formed image. FIG. 8 shows the contact glass 4
A state in which the paper dust 10 falls into the inside of the apparatus main body from the gap between the a and the scooping member 9 and tries to adhere to the mirror 8 is shown. In order to prevent paper dust from falling into the apparatus, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 5-333449, between a document guide member and a side of a platen (contact glass). Although there is an apparatus in which the sealing member is arranged in a compressed state, there is a disadvantage that the mounting of the sealing member at the time of manufacturing is troublesome. [0005] In view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, the present invention has a structure.
Easy to install and can be configured to prevent paper dust etc. from entering
It is an object to provide a document reading device. [0006] The invention according to claim 1 of the present application is a
Contact glass and the original from the contact glass

While guiding to the original entrance side of the contact glass,
Place the original entrance side of the contact glass on the contact glass.
A first leaf spring that is pressed from the side of the original placing surface of the glass,
Contact the scooping member side of the contact glass with the contact
The second pressing from the side opposite to the original placing surface of the glass
A document reading device comprising a leaf spring;
is there. [0008] Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following, portions common to the related art will be denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description will be omitted. FIGS. 1 to 3 show the configuration of a contact portion between a contact glass and a pick-up member in an embodiment of a document reading apparatus according to the present invention. In the present embodiment, a drop portion 21 is provided at the end of the scooping member 20 which abuts on the end portion of the contact glass 4b on the ADF reading side. The flour can be collected. The trash box 22 is made of resin, and generates static electricity when a document moves on the contact glass 4b. Since the static electricity easily accumulates, paper dust is easily collected. In addition, the trash box 22 is provided with a drop portion 21 of the scooping member 20.
Of the contact glass 4b and the scooping member 21 so as to eliminate the gap between the contact glass 4b and the scooping member 21. To A second embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS.

The contact glass 4b is pressed by the springs 23 and 24
It is better to insert it. Here, the leaf spring 23 is a first leaf spring.
The leaf spring 24 constitutes a second leaf spring.

Eliminates gaps around lath 4b to ensure more ingress of paper dust, etc.
Can be prevented. FIG. 5A is an enlarged view of a portion A in FIG.
FIG. 4B is an enlarged view of a portion B in FIG. In the image reading apparatus according to the first aspect, paper dust is collected so as not to enter the inside of the apparatus main body.
A trash can for the document pick-up
With this structure, paper dust can be dropped into the device with a simple configuration.
And cleaning is easy for the user.
Can significantly reduce the probability of paper dust entering the paper
It has the effect of becoming. In the image reading apparatus according to the first aspect,
Is to attach a leaf spring to the document entry side member and the scooping member so as to eliminate the gap between the contact glass and the surrounding members, so that the intrusion of paper dust etc. into the apparatus main body can be more reliably prevented. It has the effect of being able to do so.
