【発明の詳細な説明】 【0001】 【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、ポリエチレンテレフタ
レート樹脂製の2軸延伸ブロー成形壜体に関するもの
で、さらに詳言すれば、プリフォームから二度のブロー
成形操作により成形される2軸延伸ブロー成形壜体に関
するものである。 【0002】 【従来の技術】ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(以
下、単にPETと記す)は、安定した物性、無公害性、
優れた透明性、そして高い機械的強度等により2軸延伸
ブロー成形壜体として各方面で多量に使用されており、
特に食品用の壜体として極めて有用なものとなってい
る。 【0003】このようにPET製壜体は、優れた多数の
特性を効果的に発揮するものなのであるが、熱処理を施
していないPET製の2軸延伸ブロー成形壜体は、熱に
対して弱く、70度以上の高温下では容易に変形する。 【0004】このため、120度の条件下で約30分間
も熱処理するレトルト食品とか、その他の収納時に熱処
理される食品の収納容器として利用することができず、
耐熱性の高いPET製壜体の出現が強く望まれていた。 【0005】このPET製壜体に耐熱性を与える方法と
して、“ダブルブロー”と称される技術が本出願人によ
り開発された(特公平4−56734号公報参照)。 【0006】このダブルブロー成形技術は、予め所望形
状に成形されているプリフォームを一次中間成形品に2
軸延伸ブロー成形する工程と、この一次中間成形品を加
熱して熱収縮させて二次中間成形品に成形に成形する工
程と、最後にこの二次中間成形品を壜体にブロー成形す
る工程とから成っており、一次中間成形品を加熱して熱
収縮させることにより、一次中間成形品内に生じている
残留歪を消滅させ、極めて耐熱性の高い壜体を得ること
ができる。 【0007】また、通常の2軸延伸ブロー成形壜体は、
プリフォームの底壁部分に延伸ピンの先端が圧接した状
態で2軸延伸ブロー成形されるので、延伸ピンの接触部
分があまり延伸されず、底壁の中央部分が極端に厚くな
ってしまうのが普通であり、この肉厚となった底壁中央
部分は、無延伸もしくは延伸不足部分であるので、耐熱
性、耐内容物性、さらには透明性等の物性が劣るという
不都合がある。 【0008】しかしながら、前記したダブルブロー成形
法によれば、延伸ピンを使用しない二度目のブロー成形
操作により、底壁中央部分を延伸成形することができ、
これにより底壁中央部分の極端な肉厚を解消して、その
肉厚程度を或る程度まで減少させることができると共
に、底壁の物性を改善することができる(図3参照)。 【0009】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、この種の合
成樹脂製壜体においては、品質管理等の便宜のため、果
汁炭酸ボトルの底面を示す図4、および耐熱ボトルの底
面を示す図5に示すように、使用した成形金型の番号
(通称、型番nと言い、ダブルブロー成形壜体の場合
は、二度目のブロー成形金型の型番nとなる)が、底壁
2の周辺部4に刻印されている。 【0010】しかしながら、ダブルブロー成形壜体の底
壁2の周辺部4は、充分に延伸成形されて肉薄にかつ透
明性の高い状態に成形されているため、細かい凹凸状に
成形される型番nをシャープに成形することができない
と共に、透明性が高い部分であるので、刻設された型番
nを判読し難いと云う問題があった。 【0011】そこで、本発明は上記した従来技術におけ
る問題点を解消すべく創案されたもので、ダブルブロー
成形壜体において、底壁に刻印される型番が明瞭に視覚
認識できるようにすることを技術的課題とし、もって壜
体の底壁に刻設された型番による壜体の品質管理を間違
いなく、円滑に達成することを目的とする。 【0012】 【課題を解決するための手段】上記技術的課題を解決す
る本発明の手段は、予め所望形状に成形されたプリフォ
ームを2軸延伸ブロー成形して一次中間成形品に成形
し、この一次中間成形品を加熱処理して熱収縮変形させ
て二次中間成形品に成形し、この二次中間成形品を最終
形状にブロー成形して成る透明な合成樹脂製壜体である
こと、二度目のブロー成形金型の型番を、底壁の比較的
肉厚部分である中心部に刻印すること、にある。 【0013】 【作用】ダブルブロー成形された壜体の底壁は、比較的
充分に延伸成形されているとは言え、二次中間成形品の
時点における延伸不足部分である底壁の中央部の肉厚が
極端に大きいので、二度目のブロー成形処理により集中
的に延伸成形されたとしても、この二度目のブロー成形
処理による延伸量が一度目のブロー成形処理の延伸量に
比べて全体的に少ないこともあって、一度目のブロー成
形処理によりすでに充分に延伸された肉薄となっている
底壁の周辺部に比べて、その肉厚は大きなものとなって
いる。 【0014】このように、底壁の中央部は底壁の周辺部
に比べて、その肉厚が大きいので、この肉厚の大きい
分、細かい凹凸である型番の刻設をシャープに達成する
ことができると共に、透明性が劣るので、刻設された型
番の視覚認識が容易となる。 【0015】 【実施例】以下、本発明の実施例を、図1〜図3を参照
しながら説明する。図1、図2はそれぞれ果汁炭酸ボト
ル及び耐熱ボトルの底面を示したもので、これらの壜体
1はダブルブロー成形によって成形されたもので、予め
所望形状に成形されたプリフォームを2軸延伸ブロー成
形して一次中間成形品に成形し、この一次中間成形品を
加熱処理して熱収縮変形させて二次中間成形品に成形
し、この二次中間成形品を完成品である壜体1にブロー
成形したものである。 【0016】この壜体1の底壁2は、中心部3が比較的
肉厚に、その周辺部4が肉薄になると云う肉厚分布(図
3参照)となっており、中心部3は最も肉厚な部分とな
っていて、他の部分、特に周辺部4に比べてその透明性
が劣っている。 【0017】この底壁2の肉厚な中心部3の外面(下
面)に、二度目のブロー成形金型の型番nを二度目のブ
ロー成形力を利用して、壜体1のブロー成形と同時に型
番nの刻設を達成する。 【0018】なお、一度目の2軸延伸ブロー成形処理時
に延伸不足部分となる底壁2の中心部は、この一次ブロ
ー成形処理時における熱影響によりわずかに白濁するの
が一般であるので、底壁2の中央部3の透明性の低下
は、この白濁により促進されることになり、これによっ
ても中央部3に刻設された型番nの視覚認識は行い易い
状態となる。 【0019】 【発明の効果】本発明は、上記した構成となっているの
で、以下に示す効果を奏する。透明なダブルブロー成形
壜体において、型番を比較的肉厚で、かつ透明度の低い
底壁中心部に刻印するので、型番を明瞭に視覚認識する
ことができ、品質管理等の面から極めて有益である。 【0020】型番は、比較的肉厚な底壁中央部の外面に
刻設されるので、肉薄な底壁周辺部に刻設するのに比べ
て、その凹凸をシャープに刻設することができ、もって
型番の識別を容易に達成できる。
