As described above, according to the present invention, in a vehicle transfer device for a car washing apparatus, the transfer path has a transfer surface at a central portion thereof and a slope having an upward slope extending outward from the outside of the transfer surface. A wheel support member having a sliding surface on the upper surface so as to protrude from the transfer surface.
Since the tread surface of the wheel is placed on the wheel bearing member, the wheel rolling on the transfer path automatically moves on the transfer path by cooperation of the inclined surface and the wheel support member. It is guided on the transfer surface, so that it is possible to prevent the side surface of the wheel from being scratched and to ensure efficient transfer of the vehicle.

C)下に、該装置(WC)を縦走する移送路(5)を設
け、洗浄すべき車両(V)の左、右の何れか一方の車輪
を前記移送路(5)上を転動させつつ、該車両(V)を
移送手段(T)により前記洗車装置(WC)の入口(I
N)から出口(OU)に向かって移送することにより洗
車できるようにした洗車装置における車両移送装置にお
いて、前記移送路(5)は、その中央部の移送面(5
B)と、該移送面(5B)の外側より外側方に向かって
上り勾配の傾斜面(5C)とを有し、前記移送面(5
B)には、上面に滑り面(21,21′)を有する車輪
支承部材(S,S′)を該移送面(5B)より上方に突
出して設け、この車輪支承部材(S,S′)上に前記車
輪のトレッド面が載置されるようにしたことを特徴とす
る、洗車装置における車両移送装置。
