When the auxiliary machine 1 is further pushed in, the release projections 31, 32 press the flexible locking arms 27, 28 outwardly (up and down). The locking arms 27 and 28 project outward from the guide walls 59 and 60 by bending. As a result, the locking projections 66 of the arms 27 and 28 are disengaged from the engagement holes 45 and 46 of the first connector 6 on the harness side, and the locking of the first connector 6 to the connector holder 5 is released. The first connector 6 is fixed to the accessory device side by fitting to the first connector 2 on the accessory device side.

At the same time, the first connector 6 on the harness side is pushed rearward along the guide walls 59 and 60 of the connector holder 5 as shown in FIG. At the same time, the second connector 3 on the accessory side is fitted to the second connector 7 on the harness side. The second connector 7 on the harness side is provided with flexible locking arms 29, 30.

As described above, since the fitting operation of the first connector 2 and the fitting operation of the second connector 3 are separately performed with a time lag, the connector fitting operation force is dispersed, and the connector fitting is performed with low force. As a result, the accessory 1 is easily assembled to the instrument panel 4 with low power.

That is, by pulling out the accessory 1 from the mounting hole 68, first, the fitting of the second connector 3 is released as shown in FIG. The first connector 6 on the harness side is pulled by the first connector 2 on the accessory side, advances in the connector holder 5 and is locked by the flexible locking arms 27 and 28. Next, the fitting of the first connector 2 is released as shown in FIG.
In this way, the detaching operation of the connector is also performed separately with a time lag, thereby reducing the force of the detaching operation of the connector,
The work of removing the accessory 1 is facilitated.

When the number of connectors is three, for example, by pushing the accessory 1 further from the fitted state of the second connector 3 in FIG. 4, the second connector 7 releases the release projection (not shown). As a result, the lock is released and retreats, and at the same time, the third connectors (not shown) are fitted. As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, after the first connector on the auxiliary device is fitted with the first connector on the harness along with the pushing operation of the auxiliary device, the lock release projection is formed. Presses the flexible locking arm outward to release the engagement with the first connector on the harness side, disengages the first connector on the harness side from the connector holder, and then the second connector is fitted. Done. As described above, since the fitting of the plurality of connectors is performed stepwise with a time lag, the fitting operation force is significantly reduced as compared with the case where the plurality of connectors are fitted simultaneously. As a result, the assembly force of the auxiliary equipment is reduced,
Assembly work is facilitated. Further, according to the second aspect of the present invention, insertion and removal of each connector can be performed smoothly and reliably along the guide wall. According to the third aspect of the invention, the accessory-side connector is securely positioned in the connector holder by the insertion guide, and is reliably inserted into the connector holder. According to the fourth aspect of the invention, the fitting lock between the accessory-side connector and the harness-side connector is securely performed, and even after the harness-side connector is detached from the connector holder, the harness-side connector remains on the accessory-side connector. The connector is stably held and fixed.
