するリールと、前記テープの巻取り/巻戻し方向を紙幣
の短辺方向にして前記テープと紙幣とを巻き取り/巻き
戻しするホイールと、紙幣の収納に伴い前記ホイールの
径の変化に追従するように支持された紙幣ガイドを有
し、その紙幣ガイドの形状が、前記ホイールを回転支持
する軸の軸方向中央部を、前記ホイール若しくは前記テ
ープが巻き付けられた前記ホイールの外周面がほぼ内接
する円弧形状とし、紙幣長辺方向における紙幣の両端部
に対応する部分を、前記テープが前記ホイールの外周面
に巻付くテープ巻付点から前記ホイールの円周方向に遠
ざかるほど、且つ、ホイール軸端に向かうほど、前記ホ
イールに巻き付けられた紙幣の外周からの空間が増大す
る形状を備え、 前記搬送路のうち前記紙幣収納放出装置との受渡し部
は、第1のゲート及び第2のゲートを有し、前記第1の
ゲートが前記紙幣収納放出装置の通過と前記紙幣収納放
出装置への紙幣の取込みとを切替え、前記第2のゲート
が前記紙幣収納放出装置への紙幣収納と前記紙幣収納放
出装置からの紙幣放出とを切替える、構成とした紙幣自
動入出金機。
