い外径で環状突設され、その内側に弾性体のパッキンリ
ングを介在させるパッキンリング溝と、 前記パッキンリング溝の末端部において、連結管の挿入
時、連結管の外周面がその内周面と接しながら挿入され
るようにすると共に、挿入される連結管の先端部を止め
ることができるように止め段が形成された管固定部とで
構成される締結部を有することを特徴とする金属管接続
用の圧着式管継手。

る時に前記締結リング溝と縮径間隔部の縮径変形がパッ
キンリング溝の縮径変形より先に始まって一定量進行し
た後、パッキンリング溝が圧着用治具の第2の圧着凹溝
に接触されて縮径が始まり、 前記管継手と連結管との締結は、締結リングの縮径圧着
により連結管の外周面に前記締結リングの内面が圧着し
てこれを押圧することによって、連結管が縮径されなが
らその中心方向に陥没せしめられて締結リングとの接触
部に縮径凹溝が形成されてなることを特徴とする金属管
接続用の圧着式管継手の締結方法。
