As disclosed in JP-A-314089, a completed core is manufactured by filling a joint formed in a recess formed in a combined surface of a plurality of partial cores with a joint sand.
The inging head is pressed against the upper surface of the combination core, and is blown and filled together with the compressed air. In such blow-filling, since the compressed air is supplied into the combined partial core, there is a problem that the joining sand blows out from a gap or the like at the mating surface between the blowing head and the core. In order to prevent the above problem, it is necessary to make the equipment large so that the sealing between the partial core and each member such as the blowing head can be surely performed. Further, in order to increase the adhesive strength, it is necessary to increase the filling density by increasing the blowing pressure, but there is a drawback that the blowing pressure cannot be increased too much due to the strength of the partial core.

A core receiving jig 3 in which a plurality of partial cores 2 and 2 and side partial cores 2A and 2A are combined and set inside is placed on an upper portion of a conveyor constituted by a plurality of rollers 1 and 1. And each partial core 2,
Key-shaped or wedge-shaped recesses 2B, 2B are defined on the combined surface of 2, 2A. A horizontal guide frame 4 is disposed above the conveyor, and a hopper nozzle 5 is hung on the right half of the horizontal guide frame 4 and has a horizontal gate plate 6 on the left half. Are mounted so that they can travel horizontally. A joining sand hopper 8 is disposed above the horizontal gate plate 6 of the carriage 7 so that the lower end thereof can be slid relative to the horizontal gate plate 6. A compressed air supply cover 9 capable of sealing the upper part of the hopper nozzle 5 is provided on the lower right side.

The carriage 7 is moved by the operation of the traveling cylinder 10 so that the hopper nozzle 5 is connected to the compressed air supply cover 9 and the joining sand hopper 8.
It is configured to reciprocate between. The compressed air supply cover 9 is connected to a compressed air reservoir tank 13 via an on-off valve 12. Below the hopper nozzle 5, a funnel-shaped joining sand guide shoe 15 connected to an elevating mechanism 14 has its lower end connected to each of the cores 2, 2, 2.
A is detachably provided on the upper surface of A. The recesses 2B, 2B,
2B may be formed in plural at intervals in the front-rear direction of the paper. In this case, a plurality of hopper nozzles 5, joining sand hoppers 8, joining sand guides 15 and the like are arranged in parallel in the front-rear direction of the drawing. Become.

Supply within 5. As a result, the joining sand S in the hopper nozzle 5 is recessed 2B together with the compressed air.
And the compressed air is blown into the recess 2B, and the compressed air is released above the joint sand guide shoe 15 to spray and fill the recess 2B with the joining sand S to fill the recess 2B on the rightmost side. Complete the joining sand filling. In this case, the filled bonding sand has a higher bonding strength than the conventional one. Next, the elevating mechanism 14 is operated to raise the joining sand guide shoe 15 from the partial cores 2 and 2A.
The pitch is moved to the right, and the next recess 2B is positioned below the guide shoe 15. On the other hand, the traveling cylinder 10 reciprocates, moves the carriage 7 to the left, moves the hopper nozzle 5 to the lower part of the joining sand hobber 8, receives a necessary amount of joining sand S, and returns to the original position. At this time, the joining sand hopper 8
1 is closed by the horizontal gate plate 6 as shown in FIG. 1 and the joining sand guide shoe 15 is lowered by the elevating mechanism 14 to contact the upper part of the next recess 2B. Thereafter, in the same manner as described above, the spraying and filling of the joining sand S is sequentially performed, and the joining sand S is sprayed and filled in all the recesses 2B and 2B to obtain a completed core, and the joining sand S is hardened (the self-hardening sand). In the case of natural leaving, and in the case of gas-curable sand, gasification of the curing gas is performed) to complete the production of the core.

等すぐれた効果を奏するものである。According to the present invention, as is apparent from the above description, the hopper nozzle is positioned at an interval with respect to the recess defined on the combination surface of the partial cores, and the compressed air is supplied into the hopper nozzle for joining. Since the sand is sprayed and filled into the dents, the joining sand does not blow out from the gaps between the members together with the compressed air, so there is no need to apply sealing between the members with large-scale equipment and the joining is also possible. Since the blowing pressure of the sand can be arbitrarily selected, an excellent effect such as an increase in the bonding strength of the joining core can be obtained.
