2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when a hole is formed in a belt made of a resin fiber such as polyester fiber (hereinafter simply referred to as a belt), a sharp angle is formed in order to prevent the fibers around the formed hole from fraying. A method has been adopted in which a heated iron having a sharp tip is penetrated through a belt to form a hole and simultaneously melt a molten fiber resin around the hole. In this method, as shown in FIGS. 6A to 6G, the belt W is placed on the placement surface 82A of the pedestal 82 having the insertion hole 82B through which the tip of the iron 5A can be inserted, and the heater 52A is used. Insert the tip of the heated iron 5A into the insertion hole 8
Insert through 2B. Thereby, the tip of the iron 5A penetrates the belt W, and a hole is formed in the belt W.

However, when the hole is formed by the above-described method, when the tip of the iron 5A enters the belt W, the resin of the fiber that is heated and melted by the iron 5A is deposited on the surface of the belt W. It flows out (FIG. 6B), and when the tip of the iron 5A penetrates the belt W, it flows out to the back side of the belt W (FIGS. 6D and 6E). The molten resin that has flowed out on both the front and back surfaces of the belt W in this manner is
When a few seconds elapse after the tip of the iron 5A is pulled out, the tip 5A sticks in a raised state around the formed hole to form a burr B. In particular, burrs B formed on the surface side of the belt W
When the tip of the iron 5A is pulled out, the molten resin is pulled up and rises, and the height of the burrs B is increased suddenly (FIGS. 6F and 6G). When such burrs B are formed on the belt W, the insertion work becomes difficult in the process of thereafter inserting the belt W into the belt mounting hole of an accessory or the like, and there is a problem that workability deteriorates. There is also a problem that the appearance of the product is deteriorated by the formed burr B.

According to the hole forming method of the present invention, in the hole opening step,
A hole is opened in the belt by pressing a heated iron having a flat tip surface against a resin fiber belt mounted on the flat mounting surface. That is, the resin fibers of the belt pressed between the flat mounting surface of the pedestal and the flat tip surface of the iron are melted by the heat and pressure of the iron, and a hole is opened in that portion. At this time, the resin fiber in the portion near the tip of the iron melts and remains around the opening hole to form burrs, but the burrs do not occur on the back side of the belt because the mounting surface is flat. . Moreover, since the burr formed of the molten resin on the surface side of the belt does not include the resin corresponding to the hole, the height of the burr does not increase.

Next, a case in which a hole is formed in the strap belt by using the apparatus configured as described above is shown in FIG.
To (h) and FIGS. 5 (a) to 5 (d). First, when the holder 7 is in the state shown in FIG. 2, the portion where the hole of the strap belt W is to be formed is positioned on the placement surface 72 a of the slide pedestal 72, and the two strap belts W are placed in the frame portion 73. Then, a hole opening step is started (FIG. 4A). Then, the iron 5 located above each mounting surface 72 a is lowered together with the support plate 4 by driving the second air cylinder 41 (FIG. 4B), and the tip end surface 51 of the iron 5 heated by the heater 52 is removed. Strap belt W
(FIG. 4C). As a result, the resin fibers of the strap belt W, which are pressed and heated between the flat mounting surface 72a and the tip end surface 51 of the iron 5, are melted into a thin film (FIG. 4D) and further heated. This dissolves the thin film (FIG. 4 (e)), and the strap belt W
A hole which is substantially the same as the tip surface 51 of the iron 5 is opened. At this time, the resin fiber near the tip of the iron 5 melts and remains around the opening hole to form a burr B.
Is the strap belt W because the mounting surface 72a is flat.
It does not occur on the back side of. Moreover, the strap belt W
Since the burr B formed by the molten resin on the surface side of the surface does not include the resin corresponding to the hole, the height of the burr B does not increase. After a lapse of a predetermined time, the iron 5 is raised together with the support plate 4 by driving the second air cylinder 41 (FIGS. 4F to 4H), and the hole opening step is completed. In doing so, the slide pedestal 72 is slid by the operation of the actuator so that the insertion hole 72c of the support surface 72b and the opening hole of the strap belt W are aligned. Then, the movable base 3 is moved to the front side by the driving of the first air cylinder 31 so that each press rod 6 is aligned with the opening hole and the insertion hole 72c at the respective upper positions (FIG. 5A).

In this state, each press rod 6 is lowered together with the support plate 4 by driving the second air cylinder 41, and the insertion projection 62 at the tip thereof is inserted into the opening and the insertion hole 72c (FIG. 5B). ). As the press rod 6 descends, the pressing surface 61 of the press rod 6 presses around the opening of the strap belt W on the support surface 72b (FIG. 5C). Thereby, the burr B remaining around the opening hole in a flexible state is formed on the support surface 72 b of the slide base 72.
And the pressing surface 61 of the press rod 6 and the insertion protrusion 62 squash, and the thickness around the opening hole of the strap belt W becomes substantially uniform. Thereafter, the press rod 6 is moved upward together with the support plate 4 by driving the second air cylinder 41 (FIG. 5).
(D)), the deburring step is completed. In addition, the molten resin of the burrs B crushed around the opening hole is fixed as time passes, so that the resin fibers around the opening hole are prevented from fraying.

As described above, according to the hole forming method of this embodiment, the burr generated around the formed hole is completely removed by continuously performing the hole opening step and the deburring step. be able to. In this embodiment, the example in which the hole opening step and the deburring step are performed by one apparatus has been described. However, it is needless to say that both steps may be performed using separate apparatuses. In this case, the deburring step is preferably performed while the molten resin forming the burr B is flexible after the hole opening step.

According to the hole forming method of the present invention, in the hole opening step, the flat tip end surface of the heated iron is pressed against the resin fiber belt mounted on the flat mounting surface to form a portion thereof. Since the holes are opened by melting the resin fibers of the above, the height of the burrs formed by the molten resin remaining around the opening holes can be reduced, and further, in the deburring step, around the opening holes Since the soft molten resin remaining in the hole is crushed by the support surface, the pressing surface, and the insertion protrusion, burrs generated around the formed hole can be completely removed. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the workability from deteriorating due to burrs generated due to the formation of the holes, and it is possible to improve the appearance of the product.

1. A heated iron tip having a flat tip surface corresponding to the size of a hole to be formed, wherein a resin fiber belt is placed on a flat placement surface of a pedestal. A hole opening step of opening a hole by pressing the resin fiber belt on the mounting surface to melt the resin fiber, and a flat support surface having an insertion hole having a size corresponding to the opening hole. A resin fiber belt is placed so that the insertion hole and the opening hole are aligned with each other, and a pressing rod having a flat pressing surface and an insertion protrusion protruding from the pressing surface and matching the insertion hole is provided at the tip. A deburring step of inserting the insertion protrusion into the opening and the insertion hole and crushing the flexible molten resin remaining around the opening with the support surface, the pressing surface, and the insertion protrusion. A method of forming holes in a resin fiber belt.
