2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, aluminum compression sleeves as shown in FIG. 6 have been used for linear connection between overhead aluminum distribution wires. In this method, a partition wall B that divides the inside of the aluminum pipe A to the left and right (axial direction) is crimped to the aluminum pipe A, and a through hole E is opened in the peripheral walls of the compartments C and D on both sides of the partition wall B.
The compartments C and D are filled with the paste-like connection compound F (the case where only the compartment D is filled is shown).
In addition, resin caps G are attached to both ends of the aluminum pipe A so that the connection compound F filled in the aluminum pipe A leaks out or moisture in the outside air enters the aluminum pipe A. I try not to. Further, a label H is stuck on the outer peripheral surface at the center in the longitudinal direction of the aluminum pipe A so as to cover the two through holes E so that the label H prevents the connection compound F from flowing out of the through hole E. It is.

As the connection compound F, grease is used as a main material, and metal particles are mixed therein, whereby the electric resistance of the connection portion can be improved, the gripping force can be increased, and oxidation of the metal contact surface can be prevented. This is the case with today's compression sleeves of this kind.

In order to connect the compression sleeve, first remove the caps G attached to both ends of the compression sleeve, and then, as shown in FIG. (Only one side is shown), and through the connecting compound F, the same aluminum core wire J
In this state, the outer periphery of the compression sleeve is sequentially compressed from both ends toward the center by a compression tool (having a width shorter than the length of the compression sleeve).

However, the conventional compression sleeve has the following problems. . When the outer periphery of the compression sleeve into which the aluminum core wire J is inserted is sequentially compressed from both ends toward the center by a compression tool, an extra connection compound F is pushed toward the partition wall B side and is pushed out from the through hole E, While the connection compound F pushes up the label H (FIG. 7), it flows along the back surface and flows out. For this reason, the worker who connects the electric wires has to wipe off the connection compound F which has flowed out with a cloth or the like, which requires extra labor. . Since the cap G attached to the opening at both ends of the compression sleeve is removed when the aluminum core wire J is inserted, an extra connection compound F flows out from the opening at both ends when the sleeve is compressed. Therefore, it is necessary to wipe the connection compound F. . The connection compound F has no toxicity or irritating odor, but if it gets on worker's gloves or clothes, it will not easily fall off even after washing, so the work clothes will become dirty and it will be difficult to maintain a clean and comfortable working environment . . Since the electric wire connection using the compression sleeve is also performed on the erection wire on the road, if the connection compound F flows out from the compression sleeve and falls on the ground or scatters during the work, the nearby sidewalk and road will be dirty. The cleaning is also difficult.

The compression sleeve for connecting electric wires of the present invention prevents the connection compound filled in the compression sleeve from flowing out during compression connection, thereby eliminating the work of wiping the connection compound and preventing the connection compound from scattering and falling. The purpose is to improve the workability and work environment.

It is structured to be attached so as to cover the outer edge of (11), and the side surface 35 is located slightly outside the opening 10 (11). The side surface 35
Has a convex lens-like thin film portion 1 slightly larger than the diameter of the electric wire.
5 is formed, and the thin film portion 15 comes out of the caps 12 and 13 when the tip of the electric wire is applied to the thin film portion 15 and is pressed strongly, so that the electric wire can be passed therethrough. A small space 36 formed between the side surface 35 and the opening 10 (11) stores the connection compound 5 flowing out of the opening 10 (11) when the pipe is compressed so as not to flow out of the cap 12 (13). It is for keeping.

The cap 12 (13) shown in FIG. 2B has a structure similar to that of FIG. 1, but the cap 12 (13) is provided at the edge portion covering the opening 10 (11). An inward projection 38 is formed, and the projection 38 fits into the recess formed in the opening 10 (11). This prevents the cap 12 (13) from falling out of the opening 10 (11) even if the edge portion is short.

Embodiment 2 FIG. 5 shows another embodiment of the compression sleeve for connecting electric wires according to the present invention. The metal pipe 1, the partition 2, the through hole 9, and the connection compound 5 (not shown) in the compression sleeve for connecting electric wires are exactly the same as those in the first embodiment. However, an absorption adapter 8 having a receiving portion 7 for absorbing the connection compound 5 flowing out from both through holes 9 was attached to the outer periphery of the metal pipe 1. The absorption adapter 8 is formed by forming a synthetic resin into a tubular shape so as to be in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the metal pipe 1. A ring-shaped accommodation portion 7 as shown in FIG. Two holes are formed at the same interval as the through holes 9.
Further, as shown in FIG. 2B, a recess is formed in the absorption adapter 8 so as to extend over both the through holes 9 to provide the housing portion 7.
The connection compound 5 may accumulate in the accommodating portion 7.

According to the compression sleeve for connecting electric wires of the present invention, since the connection compound 5 filled in the compartments 3 and 4 of the metal pipe 1 does not flow out during compression work, the connection compound 5 is wiped off. Work is unnecessary,
In addition, the outflowing connection compound 5 does not lean down and pollute nearby roads and sidewalks. Also, there is no risk of soiling the clothes of the workers.
