Description

This invention relates to a desk calendar.

Conventionally, a desk calendar is composed of a cardboard holder, calendar paper, and binding rings (Patent Documents 1 and 2).

As shown in FIG. 2, the holder 10 is made up of a bottom plate 1, a front plate 2 and a back plate 3 that are connected to the bottom plate 1. The upper edges of the front plate 2 and the back plate 3 are joined together, forming a triangle in a side view. The bottom plate 1 is provided with a bent piece 4 to maintain the triangular position.

As shown in FIG. 1, the binding ring 6 is made of three roughly circular ring bodies 61 fixed with binding margins 62. The binding ring 6 shown in the figure uses three ring bodies 61, but two or four or more ring bodies may be used. The binding ring 6 may be made of any material, such as paper or synthetic resin.

In this invention, there are two binding rings 6, which are used as a pair on the left and right.
For this reason, small square holes 31 for passing the ring bodies 61 of the binding rings 6 are provided in the upper edge of each calendar paper 5 and in the upper edge of the back plate 3 of the holder 10. Three square holes 31 are provided on each of the left and right upper edges of the back plate 3. The upper edge of the calendar paper 5 is rotatably engaged with the upper edge of the holder 10 using the two binding rings 6 described above.

As shown in FIG. 1, the front plate 2 of the holder 10 has an opening 8 into which the binding margin 62 of the binding ring 6 fits loosely. The opening 8 is located at the upper left and right edges of the front plate 2. In other words, it is at a location that corresponds to the square hole 31 formed in the back plate 3.

As shown in Figure 3, in the desk calendar A of this invention, any number of calendar sheets 5 can be rotated toward the front panel 2 during use to make the calendar for that month visible.

At this time, the binding margin 62 of the binding ring 61 passes through the opening 8 formed in the front panel 2 and fits into the space between the front panel 2 and the back panel 3. As a result, no gap is created between the calendar paper 5 and the front panel 2, and the calendar paper 5 is in close contact with the front panel 2.
