Abstract

[Problem] To provide a fall prevention device that can improve workability and safety. Description

This invention relates to a fall prevention device that prevents bolts and nuts from falling when assembling a structure using bolts and nuts.

Patent documents 1 and 2 describe fall prevention devices that prevent bolts and nuts from falling when working at heights such as on steel towers.

In Patent Document 1, a magnet is used to attract and hold the flat surface of the bolt head and the side of the nut, and a safety cord is used to attach the tool to a tool bag or a harness, preventing the bolt and nut from falling during work.

On the other hand, in Patent Document 2, the bolt and nut are held in a blind hole so that they cannot rotate, and are attached to the worker's body or surrounding structures with a coil wire.

However, as in Patent Document 1, when a safety cord is used to attach the tool to a tool bag or a harness, it is possible to prevent the bolts and nuts from falling out, but there are problems in that the holding part and safety cord may swing after the attachment work is completed, interfering with the work, or the holding part may become attached to a steel tower or the like.

On the other hand, Patent Document 2 discloses a configuration in which the hanging part is attached to a wristband, which is unlikely to get in the way of work or get stuck to steel towers, as in Patent Document 1. However, once the fastening work with the bolts and nuts is completed, the holding part hangs down from the wristband. This causes the holding part to swing around every time you move your hand, which is annoying, and can even be dangerous as it can get caught on structures.

This invention was made in consideration of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a fall prevention device that can improve workability and safety.

The fall prevention device according to the present invention solves the above-mentioned problems by providing a pair of first and second wrist belts that are respectively worn on the left and right wrists of a worker, a first and second hanging cord, one end of each of which is connected to the first and second wrist belts, a first holding part that is connected to the other end of the first hanging cord and magnetically attracts and holds the head of a bolt, a second holding part that is connected to the other end of the second hanging cord and magnetically attracts and holds the back surface of the seat of a nut, a first suction fixing part that is provided on the first wrist belt and magnetically attracts and fixes the first holding part, and a second suction fixing part that is provided on the second wrist belt and magnetically attracts and fixes the second holding part.

With the above configuration, the first and second holding parts can be fixed by suction to the first and second suction fixing parts of the first and second wrist belts, respectively, so that the first and second holding parts can be fixed after the installation work.

This prevents the first and second holding parts from swinging and getting in the way after work, and also prevents them from getting caught on structures. When it is time to install the next bolts and nuts, the first and second holding parts can be removed from the first and second suction fixing parts, and the bolts and nuts can be suctioned, respectively, allowing for continuous work.

Furthermore, the above-mentioned problem is solved by providing first and second swivels that are provided between the first and second holding parts and the first and second hanging cords, at the intermediate parts of the first and second hanging cords, and at the joint parts of the first and second hanging cords and the wrist belt, and that take up any twists in the first and second hanging cords.

By providing the first and second swivels, when the first and second holding parts are rotated to fasten the bolt and nut, twisting and tangling of the first and second hanging cords due to rotation can be avoided, and the work of removing twists is also unnecessary.

In addition, the above-mentioned problem is also solved by providing first and second take-up reels that are provided on the first and second hanging cords, respectively, and that take up the first and second hanging cords, respectively, when the first and second holding parts are held by the first and second suction fixing parts, respectively.

By providing first and second take-up reels and winding up the first and second hanging cords that hang down in a loop when the first and second holding parts are held by the first and second suction fixing parts, respectively, the slack in the hanging cords can be eliminated, preventing the hanging cords from getting caught on workers or structures, and improving work safety.

In addition, the first and second hanging cords are each an extendable safety cord, which also solves the above-mentioned problem.

By using an elastic safety cord for the first and second hanging cords, when the first and second holding parts are held by the first and second suction fixing parts, respectively, the slack in the first and second hanging cords is reduced, preventing the hanging cords from getting caught on the worker or structures, thereby improving work safety.

The first retaining portion includes a first magnet and a first bolt retaining member formed of a magnetic material that is interposed between the first magnet and the head of the bolt and into which the head of the bolt is fitted, and the second retaining portion includes a second magnet and a nut retaining member formed of a magnetic material that is interposed between the second magnet and the back surface of the seat of the nut and into which the nut is fitted, thereby solving the above-mentioned problem.

By using a bolt holding member and a nut holding member, when tightening the bolt and nut, the bolt and nut can be tightened by rotating the bolt holding member and the nut holding member, improving workability.

Therefore, this invention provides a fall prevention device that can improve workability and safety.

Below, the form for implementing this invention is explained with reference to the drawings.

Figure 1 shows the schematic configuration of a fall prevention device according to an embodiment of the present invention. This fall prevention device is composed of a pair of first and second wrist belts (also called wrist bands or wrist straps) 11, 12, first and second hanging cords 13, 14, first and second holding parts 15, 16, and first and second suction fixing parts 17, 18.

The first and second wrist belts 11, 12 are worn on the left and right wrists of the worker, respectively. In this example, flat belt fittings 11a, 12a are provided at one end of the belt-like belt, and the other end is folded back through the flat belt fittings 11a, 12a and fastened to the belt body by hook-and-loop fasteners 11b, 12b, etc.

One end 13a, 14a of each of the first and second hanging cords 13, 14 is connected to the first and second wrist belts 11, 12. The other ends 13b, 14b of each of the first and second hanging cords 13, 14 are provided with first and second holding parts 15, 16.

The first holding part 15 is formed of a button-shaped magnet, and uses magnetic force to attract and hold the head of the bolt. The second holding part 16 is also formed of a button-shaped magnet, and uses magnetic force to attract and hold the back surface of the nut seat. Since the first and second holding parts 15, 16 have the same shape, it is possible to hold the nut in the first holding part 15 and the bolt in the second holding part 16 depending on the ease of work and the position and arrangement of the bolt and nut to be fastened.

The first adhesive fixing portion 17 is provided on the side of the first wrist belt 11 and is made of a plate-shaped magnetic material, for example, an iron plate. The first holding portion 15 is attached to and fixed on this first adhesive fixing portion 17 by magnetic force. The second adhesive fixing portion 18 is provided on the side of the second wrist belt 12 and is made of a plate-shaped magnetic material, for example, an iron plate. As shown by the two-dot chain line, the second holding portion 16 is attached to and fixed on this second adhesive fixing portion 18 by magnetic force.

Figure 2 shows the operation of fastening a bolt and a nut using the fall prevention device shown in Figure 1. The first wrist belt 11 is worn on the left wrist 100, and the second wrist belt 12 is worn on the right wrist 110. The head of the bolt 10a is magnetically attracted and held by the first holding part 15, and the back surface of the seat of the nut 10b is magnetically attracted and held by the second holding part 16. In this state, the first and second holding parts 15, 16 or the bolt 10a and the nut 10b are rotated with the fingertips of both hands to fasten them.

If necessary, a washer can be attached to the nut 10b and placed between the bolt 10a and the nut 10b.

Next, with the bolt 10a and nut 10b engaged, the first holding part 15 is removed from the head of the bolt and fixed by adsorption to the first adsorption fixing part 17, and the second holding part 16 is removed from the nut and fixed by adsorption to the second adsorption fixing part 18.

Then, the bolt 10a and nut 10b are tightened to the required torque using tools such as spanners and various wrenches.

Next, the first holding part 15 is removed from the first suction fixing part 17, and the head of another bolt 10a is magnetically attracted and held, and the second holding part 16 is removed from the second suction fixing part 18, and the back surface of the seat of the nut 10b is magnetically attracted and held.

In this state, the first and second holding parts 15, 16 or the bolt 10a and nut 10b are rotated and locked with the fingertips of both hands, and the bolt 10a and nut 10b are tightened with the required torque using a tool.

Then repeat the same fastening process.

Figures 3(a) and (b) show other configuration examples of the first suction and fixation part 17. In Figure 1, a plate-shaped example is shown, but as shown in (a), a ring-shaped storage part 17b is formed in the plate-shaped part 17a. This storage part 17b may be made of a magnetic material or a non-magnetic material.

Then, as shown in FIG. (b), the first holding portion 15 is accommodated and fixed by suction to the plate-shaped portion 17a.

The second suction fixing part 18 has a similar configuration.

Figures 4(a) and (b) show yet another example of the configuration of the first suction fixing part 17. In Figure 1, a plate-shaped example is shown, but as shown in (a), a columnar protrusion 17c is formed on the plate-shaped part 17a. This protrusion 17c may be made of a magnetic material or a non-magnetic material.

Then, as shown in FIG. (b), the annular first holding portion 15a is inserted into the protruding portion 17c and fixed by suction to the plate-shaped portion 17a.

The second suction fixing part 18 has a similar configuration.

Even with the configurations shown in Figures 3 and 4, the first and second holding parts 15, 16 can be fixed by magnetic attraction in the same way as in Figure 1.

Figure 5 shows a modified example of the first holding part 15. A first swivel 19 is provided between the first holding part 15 and the first hanging cord 13. Although not shown, a second swivel is provided between the second holding part 16 and the second hanging cord 14.

Then, the first and second holding parts 15, 16 or the bolt 10a and nut 10b are rotated and locked with the fingertips of both hands, and the bolt 10a and nut 10b are tightened with the required torque using a tool.

The first and second swivels rotate freely as shown by the arrows even when the first and second holding parts 15, 16 (bolt 10a, nut 10b) rotate, preventing the rotational motion from being transmitted to the first and second hanging cords 13, 14.

In FIG. 5, the first and second swivels are provided between the first and second holding parts 15, 16 and the first and second hanging cords 13, 14, but they may be provided in the middle of the first and second hanging cords 13, 14 or at the connection between the first and second hanging cords 13, 14 and the wrist belts 11, 12.

The configuration shown in Figure 5 makes it possible to prevent the first and second hanging cords 13, 14 from twisting or tangling when fastening the bolt 10a and the nut 10b, eliminating the need for work to remove twists.

The present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment and modifications, but can be implemented in various ways without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.

For example, first and second winding reels may be provided to wind up the first and second hanging cords 13 and 14, respectively, when the first and second holding parts 15 and 16 are held by the first and second suction fixing parts, respectively.

When the first and second holding parts 15, 16 are held by the first and second suction fixing parts, respectively, the first and second hanging cords 13, 14 that hang down in a loop are wound up by the first and second winding reels, eliminating slack in the hanging cords and preventing them from getting caught on workers or structures, thereby improving work safety.

In addition, an extendable safety cord can be used as the first and second hanging cords 13, 14.

Even with a configuration that uses an extendable safety cord, the slack in the first and second hanging cords 13, 14 can be reduced, preventing the first and second hanging cords 13, 14 from getting caught on workers or structures, thereby improving work safety.

Furthermore, the first retaining portion 15 can be composed of a first bolt retaining member made of a disk-shaped magnetic material that is interposed between the first magnet and the head of the bolt and into which the head of the bolt is fitted, and the second retaining portion 16 can be composed of a second magnet and a nut retaining member made of a disk-shaped magnetic material that is interposed between the second magnet and the back surface of the seat of the nut and into which the nut is fitted.

With this configuration, by interposing the bolt holding member and the nut holding member, when fastening the bolt and the nut, the bolt holding member and the nut holding member can be rotated to fasten the bolt and the nut, improving workability. The bolt holding member and the nut holding member can be made easier to rotate with the fingertips by enlarging the outer shape of the first and second holding parts 15, 16 or by providing grooves or checkering on the outer periphery, improving workability.

a pair of first and second wrist belts to be worn on the left and right wrists of a worker, respectively;
a first strap and a second strap, each of which has one end connected to the first wrist belt and the second wrist belt;
a first holding part connected to the other end of the first hanging cord and holding the head of the bolt by magnetic force;
a second holding portion connected to the other end of the second hanging cord and holding the back surface of the nut seat by magnetic force;
a first attracting and fixing portion provided on the first wrist belt and configured to attract and fix the first holding portion by magnetic force;
a second attracting and fixing portion provided on the second wrist belt and configured to attract and fix the second holding portion by magnetic force;

The fall prevention device according to claim 1, characterized in that the first holding part comprises a first magnet and a first bolt holding member made of a magnetic material that is interposed between the first magnet and the head of the bolt and into which the head of the bolt is fitted, and the second holding part comprises a second magnet and a nut holding member made of a magnetic material that is interposed between the second magnet and the back surface of the seat of the nut and into which the nut is fitted.
