Description
The present invention relates to a document binding tool for binding documents for the purpose of storage or the like.
As an example of a document binding tool, there is a binding tool described in
The paper binding tool described in
Similar to
The binding tool of
Although the paper binding tool of
In consideration of the above points, the present invention can bind documents compactly, and it is easy to put them in and out of the document shelf, and it is stable without the documents coming off or being damaged even if the documents are repeatedly browsed. The purpose is to provide a preferred document binding tool that is stored in a stable manner.
The document binding tool of the present invention binds a document having two binding holes through a wire rod (including a string-shaped or rod-shaped one) in each binding hole.
-It has a pair of sheets that can be stacked on both outer surfaces of the above documents (the two surfaces that are exposed to the outermost side of a plurality of overlapping documents), and the wire rod is placed in two places on the first sheet, which is one of them. Is provided upright, and the other second sheet is provided with two through holes for passing each of the above wires (inserting each wire from the tip side).
-A plurality of protrusions (including uneven ones) are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the wire rod at intervals in the length direction of the wire rod, and a retaining piece is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole. At least one of the protrusion and the retaining piece is a material (synthetic resin or the like) that can be elastically deformed, and the direction in which the wire is inserted into the through hole (from the tip end to the base end portion). Having a shape that allows only relative movement (slide) of
-And, each of the above-mentioned sheets is characterized by having a length extending substantially over the entire length of the edge of the above-mentioned document on the side having the binding hole.
The "shape that allows only relative movement in the direction in which the wire rod is inserted into the through hole" for the protrusion and the retaining piece is, for example, the receiving claw described in
Further, the width of each sheet having the above length may be narrow enough to cover the band-shaped range along the two binding holes, and may be wide enough to cover substantially the entire surface of the above document. But it may be.
When passing the two wires provided on the first sheet through the binding holes of the document and then passing those wires from the tip through the through holes of the second sheet, the protrusions of the wires and the through holes are prevented from coming off. Since the pieces move relative to each other, the second sheet can be moved until the document is sandwiched between the second sheet and the first sheet. Since the protrusion and the retaining piece cannot move relative to each other in the direction in which the wire rod tries to come out of the through hole, the document can be reliably bound between the first sheet and the second sheet. Even if the bound document is thick and the wire protruding from the second sheet is short, the wire does not come out of the through hole, so that the bound state of the document is stably maintained.
If you cut off the excess wire that protrudes from the second sheet after binding the document, the thickness of the document can be added to the thickness of a pair of sheets of the document binding tool, so to arrange it on a document shelf etc. The space required can be minimized. Further, if the wire rod is cut in this way, it is difficult for the bound document to be caught in the adjacent document when it is put in the bookshelf.
Further, each of the above sheets has a length extending substantially over the entire length of the edge of the above document on the side having the binding hole, and since they are bound with the document sandwiched between them, the document is bound. It is possible to prevent the force from concentrating near the binding hole of the document, and the document is less likely to be damaged. The use of such a sheet also prevents the corners of the document (parts away from the binding holes) from bending and thickening or tearing the document. From this point of view, each of the above sheets is required to have a rigidity sufficient to press the edge of the document. However, if the sheet covers almost the entire surface of the document, it is liable to be flexibly deformed, for example, the parts other than the edges of the document are bent away from both outer surfaces of the document so that the document can be viewed. Is desirable.
Since the document binding tool described above has few components and a simple structure, it has an advantage that it is easy to manufacture and can be constructed at low cost.
Regarding the above-mentioned document binding tool, the wire rod has a base end portion having a surface perpendicular to the length direction at the end of the axial portion thereof, and the base end portion is attached to the first sheet. On the other hand, the retaining member having the through hole formed therein may be attached to the second sheet.
Such a document binding tool can be configured as shown in FIG. 1 by utilizing, for example, the binding band 10 shown in FIG. In this case, the
Further, as in the
Since inexpensive mass-produced products are commercially available as the binding bands shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, the manufacturing cost of the document binding tool can be suppressed by using them.
Regarding the above-mentioned document binding tool, the outer surface of each of the above sheets (the surface opposite to the side in contact with the document to be bound) is formed flat, and the base end portion of the wire rod and the above-mentioned retaining member are the above-mentioned sheets. It is preferable that it does not protrude from the outer surface of the.
Even when the base end of the wire or the retaining member is attached to the first or second sheet as described above, the inner side surface and the outer surface of each sheet are formed by forming a recess for attachment in each sheet. It is preferable that the sides are flat.
According to the document binding tool configured in this way, the outer surface of each sheet is flat in the state where the documents are bound, so that the documents can be smoothly put in and taken out of the document shelf.
In addition, if the inner surface of each sheet is also formed flat, that surface will be in close contact with the document, so the documents can be bound securely without being damaged, and an extra space will be created between the document and each sheet. Instead, it can be stored compactly on the document shelf. However, with respect to the inner surface, it is also preferable to form a protruding portion (
In the above-mentioned document binding tool, each of the above sheets has a length corresponding to the long side of A4 size paper and a width that can be overlapped only in the vicinity of the binding hole of the above document (about 2 to 6 times the diameter of the binding hole). It is preferable that a groove for folding is provided at a position corresponding to the short side of the A4 size paper.
In the
When binding A4 size documents along their long sides (length 29.7 cm) with the document binding tool configured in this way (so-called vertical binding), each sheet can be used as it is. On the other hand, when binding A4 size documents along the short side (length 21.0 cm) (so-called horizontal binding), each sheet is cut off with the above groove to make the length of the short side. Used in. Regardless of the binding method, the length of the edge of the document along the binding hole and the length of each sheet are almost the same, which makes it easier to handle the bound document and breaks the corners of the document. You can prevent it from bending. In order to enable vertical binding and horizontal binding for documents of other sizes (for example, B4 size and B5 size), the length of each sheet should be set appropriately and a groove for folding should be formed at an appropriate place. good.
Since the width of each sheet is narrowed, it is easy to break off, and it is preferable in terms of reducing the amount of material and reducing the cost.
Regarding the above-mentioned document binding tool, the step between each sheet and the document is relaxed at one edge (ridge angle) along the length direction of the outer surface of each of the above-mentioned strip-shaped sheets (that is, as a so-called chamfer). It is preferable that an inclined surface or a curved surface is formed. In the
According to the document binding tool configured in this way, the bound documents can be smoothly put into the document shelf. The above-mentioned edge (ridge angle) of each of the above-mentioned strip-shaped sheets is a part that easily comes into contact with an adjacent document (or a document binding tool) on the document shelf, but it is said that an inclined surface or a curved surface is formed in that part. This is because it is unlikely to get caught.
In the document binding tool of the present invention, the first sheet has two wire rod mounting holes for attaching the wire rod, and the wire rod and the first sheet are in a separated state in which the wire rod can be integrally attached. , May be. That is, the first sheet and the wire rod are provided to the user in a separated state, and are integrally attached by the user or the like by the user or the like using the above-mentioned wire rod mounting hole before being used as a document binding tool.
If the first sheet and the above wire rod are integrated from the beginning, the length directions of both are at right angles to each other, so the document binding tool can be compactly displayed, sold, or stored in a small package. It's difficult to do. However, if the first sheet and the wire rod are separated as described above, they can be arranged in a nearly parallel state, so that the space required for sales and storage before use can be saved. It is convenient to be able to reduce it. For example, immediately before binding a document, if the wire rod is passed through the wire rod mounting hole of the first sheet and the base end portion thereof is adhered and fixed, a usable document binding tool is completed. As the wire rod, for example, a commercially available cable tie as shown in FIG. 2 or FIG. 6 can be used, so that it is easy to manufacture and the cost can be suppressed.
Further, in the document binding tool of the invention, the second sheet further has two retaining member mounting holes for attaching the retaining member, and the retaining member and the second sheet are integrally integrated. It may be in a separated state that can be attached.
Also in such a document binding tool, as a wire rod and a retaining member, for example, a part in a commercially available cable tie as shown in FIG. 2 or FIG. 6 can be used. For example, immediately before use, the retaining member is separated from the wire, and the wire is attached to the wire rod mounting hole of the first sheet and the retaining member is adhered to the retaining member mounting hole of the second sheet. Such a document binding tool is also easy to manufacture, and the cost can be suppressed.
According to the document binding tool devised, documents can be bound compactly, and it is easy to put them in and out of the document shelf, and even if the documents are repeatedly browsed, the documents will come off or be damaged. Since there is no such thing, documents can be stored in a stable state for a long period of time. Since the number of parts is small and the configuration is simple, there is an advantage that it can be easily manufactured at low cost.

The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
The retaining
The two

Further, the

The procedure for binding the document P as shown in the figure is as follows. 1) As shown in FIG. 1, the two
FIG. 4 shows a state in which the edge portion of the document P is sandwiched between the

FIG. 5 shows a
In the

As shown in FIG. 7 (a), in the
After purchasing the
With the assembly type as described above, the
The document binding tool of the invention is not limited to the above-mentioned examples in terms of structure, shape, dimensions, materials and the like. For example, without using the binding band shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, the first sheet and the wire rod are molded as a seamless integral body, or the second sheet and the retaining member are integrally integrated without a boundary. A document binding tool can also be constructed by molding as an object.
