LEDの使用個数が多いほどきめ細かな高画質な表示が
可能にできることになる。そのため最近では高画質な表
示を得るために、より基板への実装面積の小さいLED
を使用したり基板上での各LEDの間隔を電源・GND
等を考慮しながら最低限の間隔にしている。また、高画
質の表示装置はLEDの使用個数が高画質以外の表示装
置に比べ非常に多いためコスト的に多色を使用せず単色
