軸の突出高さを調整可能とする雄ネジ部が設けられ、上
記折戸の開閉時には係止部材を介してピボット軸が折戸
と一体に回転すると共に上記支持部材のフランジ部は固
定具のピボット支持面に押し当てられた状態で保持され
て成るから、折戸の開閉時に、たとえ折戸の荷重を支え
るフランジ部が固定具に押し当てられていても、フラン
ジ部は回転しないので、固定具との間に摩擦が生じるこ
とはない。従って、ピボット軸は高さ調整機能を有する
構造でありながら、折戸を開閉させる時にはピボット軸
の支持部材と固定具間の摩擦を防止できるようになるの
で、ピボット軸の磨耗が防がれ、ピボット軸の長寿命化
を図ることができる。さらに摩擦によるきしみ音も発生
しなくなるので、折戸の回転を静かに且つスムーズに行
なうことができて使用性の向上が図られるものである。

A mating prismatic portion is provided, and a male screw portion is provided on the upper end side of the pivot shaft, which is screwed to the folding door side so that the height of the pivot shaft projecting from the lower end of the folding door can be adjusted during the rotation of the pivot shaft. When the folding door is opened and closed, the pivot shaft rotates integrally with the folding door via the locking member, and the flange portion of the support member is held in a state pressed against the pivot support surface of the fixture. By breaking, flange portion even support the load of Orito even though pressed against the fixture, since the flange portion does not rotate, no friction occurs between the fixture. Therefore, even though the pivot shaft has a height adjusting function, friction between the support member of the pivot shaft and the fixture can be prevented when the folding door is opened and closed, so that wear of the pivot shaft is prevented, and the pivot shaft is prevented from being worn. The life of the shaft can be extended. Further, since no squeak noise is generated due to friction, the folding door can be rotated quietly and smoothly, thereby improving usability.

レールに取付けられた固定具に固定して成る折戸用ピボ
ットの構造において、折戸の下側に取付けられるピボッ
ト軸の下端側に、下側のレールに取付けた固定具のピボ
ット軸受部に嵌め込まれるはめ込み軸部と該固定具のピ
ボット支持面に載置されて折戸の荷重を支えるフランジ
部とから成る支持部材がピボット軸に対して回転自在に
取付けられ、ピボット軸の中央部側に、ピボット軸の軸
方向に移動自在で且つピボット軸と一体に回転可能な係
止部材が嵌合する角柱状部が設けられ、ピボット軸の上
端側に折戸側に螺合してピボット軸の回転操作時に折戸
の下端からのピボット軸の突出高さを調整可能とする雄
ネジ部が設けられ、上記折戸の開閉時には係止部材を介
してピボット軸が折戸と一体に回転すると共に上記支持
部材のフランジ部は固定具のピボット支持面に押し当て
られた状態で保持されて成ることを特徴とする折戸用ピ
ボットの構造。
