Description

The present invention relates to a thermometer whose temperature display by capillaries is easy to see from a multi-directional perspective.

<Conventional technology>
A thermometer (ondokei) is generally an instrument that measures coldness and warmth such as room temperature and outside air temperature. Temperature is measured using physical properties (physical phenomena such as changes in mechanical properties (mechanical properties), thermal properties, electrical properties, magnetic properties, and optical properties) that accompany temperature changes. A device that knows the temperature by using various physical phenomena caused by temperature changes is called a thermometer, and is also called a thermometer.
Generally, the thermometer is a mercury thermometer (the melting point of mercury is minus 38.87 ° C., so it cannot be used below this) or a liquid thermometer (a thermometer in which kerosene is dyed red and sealed). In addition, there are those that indicate the temperature with a pointer using the expansion and contraction of bimetal, and liquid crystal thermometers and thermocolor thermometers as interior interiors.

A mercury thermometer or a liquid thermometer generally forms a reservoir ball 101 for accommodating thermally changing mercury or colored kerosene at the lower portion as shown in (1) and (2) of FIG. 2, and the reservoir 101 is formed. A hair pore 102 communicating with the lower part is formed in the central portion, and a rod-shaped glass 103 having an elliptical or triangular cross-sectional shape is arranged on the thermometer plate 104.
The cross-sectional shape of the rod-shaped glass 103 is substantially triangular or elliptical, the front surface thereof is a hemispherical lens 103a, and the mercury or colored kerosene portion in the pores 102 in the rod-shaped glass 103 is expanded and displayed directly in front of the rod-shaped glass 103. Because it is a thing, it is too thin to see from a line of sight other than directly in front.

The present invention provides a thermometer that can clearly display the temperature even from various angles.

The present invention has an excellent thermometer that adapts to the above-mentioned problems, and its technical feature is that "a reservoir for thermally changing mercury or colored kerosene is formed in the lower part, and the lower part is communicated with this reservoir ball. In a thermometer in which pores are formed in the center and a rod-shaped glass tube having an elliptical or triangular cross-sectional shape is arranged to measure coldness / warmth such as room temperature and outside air temperature and display a temperature scale, the rod-shaped glass tube is used. A thermometer characterized in that a silver paper or an aluminum wheel or a reflective material such as silver, nickel, chrome plating or various metal paints is arranged on the peripheral surface of the back surface of the thermometer. "

The thermometer of the present invention is a convenient thermometer that is very easy to see even from a multi-directional perspective because the temperature display by the capillaries changes widely due to diffused reflection from the reflector of the silver paper or aluminum wheel in the above configuration.

It is the front explanatory view (1) of the Example of this invention, and (2) is the cross-sectional view from the arrow view AA of (1). It is a front explanatory view (1) of a conventional example, and (2) is a cross-sectional view from the arrow BB of (1).

Aspects for carrying out the device

Examples for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

As shown in FIGS. 1 (1) and 1 (2), the thermometer 100 of this example forms a reservoir ball 101 containing thermally changing mercury or colored kerosene at the lower portion, and the lower portion is attached to the reservoir ball 101. A rod-shaped glass tube 103 having communicated hair pores 102 formed in the central portion and having an elliptical or triangular cross-sectional shape is arranged on the temperature scale plate 104, and silver paper or aluminum is formed on the back peripheral surface of the rod-shaped glass tube 103. A thermometer on which a wheel or a reflective material 105 such as silver / nickel / chrome plating or various metal paints is arranged.
The cross-sectional shape of the rod-shaped glass tube 103 is generally triangular or elliptical, and the front surface thereof is a hemispherical lens portion 103a.
When there is no reflective material 105, the mercury or colored kerosene portion in the pores 102 in the rod-shaped glass tube 103 is simply expanded and displayed thinly in front of the rod-shaped glass tube 103 as in the conventional example shown in FIGS. 2 (1) and 2 (2). It is extremely difficult to see because it is too thin when viewed from other than directly in front.
However, as shown in FIG. 1 (1), in the range YY in which the reflector 105 is arranged, the reflector 105 reflects the incident light from the back surface of the cross section of the rod-shaped glass tube 103 to be a lens portion. Probably because the front peripheral surface including 103a was irradiated to the outside, the temperature display by the capillary tube 102 changed widely, and it became a wide and very easy-to-see state even from the viewpoint from various directions.

The present invention is a highly convenient thermometer having the above-mentioned excellent action and effect, and greatly contributes to various temperature measurement office work as well as general households.
