Description

The present invention relates to a frame used to manufacture a sanitary mask that covers the mouth and nose of a human body, and a sanitary mask manufactured using the frame.

Hygiene masks filter breathing air using filters that remove suspended matter such as dust, pollen, and mist-like liquids. According to this invention, a flat type or pleated type sanitary mask can be easily manufactured without processing the filter material. The linear core material is curved in the front-back direction so as to be in close contact with the back of the nose and the cheeks on the left and right. Temporary fasteners such as clothespins are removed after the corners of the filter material are clipped in.

In this way, the filter material is folded such that the core material forms the upper edge and the lower end of the filter material forms the lower edge. The sanitary mask is completed by sandwiching the left and right corners of the lower end of the filter material with clips. The lower edge and the left and right edges of the filter material adhere to the face due to the tension of the elastic string tied to the clip.

Next, a method for mounting the completed sanitary mask will be described. First, the core material is placed directly below the left and right eyes and fixed to the ears or the back of the head with elastic cords. Cover the nose and mouth with filter material and place so that the lower edge reaches the top of the neck. If the mask is pleated, adjust the length of the filter material so that the bottom edge covers the bottom of the lower jaw. This fold can be easily formed by folding the left and right edges of the filter material with fingers. At this time, it is preferable to fix the folds with the auxiliary clip (32) illustrated in FIG. 4 so that the folds are not loosened. When the mask is pleated, no gap is created between the mask and the cheeks, so that the four sides of the filter material adhere to the face.

The sanitary mask can be used through the above procedure. Using this frame, a mask can be rapidly manufactured by using commercially available materials as a filter. [First Embodiment]
A first embodiment of the mask frame and sanitary mask of the present invention is shown in each of FIGS. 1 to 4. FIG. 1 shows a completed pleated mask. An elastic string (20), a clip (30) and a filter material (40) are attached to the core material (10). The core material is curved in the front-rear direction so as to be in close contact with the left and right cheeks and the back of the nose. A material that is plastically deformed by the force of a finger is used for the linear core material (10). For example, an aluminum wire, a copper wire, an annealed iron wire, a stainless steel wire having a small diameter, a thermoplastic resin, etc. are exemplified. A material that can be sterilized with hot water is preferable.

In the case of this embodiment, an aluminum alloy wire having a diameter of 3 mm is curved so that the left and right ends reach the vicinity of the ear. A material having elasticity is used for the elastic cord (20) which is flexible and stretchable. For example, a rubber tube, a rubber belt, a rubber band, a string containing rubber, etc. are exemplified. The sanitary mask of this example is a pleated type. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, folding folds (42) are formed on the left and right edges and are fixed by auxiliary clips (32). As the auxiliary clip (32), the same one as the clip (30) is used. Since the auxiliary clip is not tied to the elastic cord, a hole for attaching the cord is unnecessary.

As the sheet-shaped filter material (40), a material capable of filtering suspended matter in the air is used. For example, gauze, handkerchief, cloth, non-woven fabric, pepper towel, kitchen paper, etc. are exemplified. The filter material in this example is a commercially available square handkerchief and kitchen paper. Between the folded handkerchief, a kitchen paper moistened with a mist is sandwiched. 2 to 4 show a procedure for manufacturing the sanitary mask of the first embodiment. The manufacturing procedure has been described above in “Effects of the device”, and thus the description thereof is omitted here. A commercially available male handkerchief has four corner folds, and the left and right corners of the upper edge are arranged directly below the corners of the eyes and the lower edge is arranged below the lower jaw. A second embodiment of the frame and sanitary mask of the present invention is shown in FIG. FIG. 5 shows a completed pleated mask. The core material (10) of this embodiment is a stainless wire having a diameter of 1 mm. The elastic cord (20) is a silicone rubber tube having an outer diameter of 3 mm. The shaded core material is inserted into the elastic cord. The left and right ends of the rubber tube are hollow. By using stainless steel wire and silicone rubber, this mask frame can be sterilized with hot water.

Both end portions of the core material are curved upward from the side surface of the cheek, and have a shape similar to that of wearing ears of glasses. In the case of this embodiment, the elastic cord (20) is a rubber tube. Since the nose pad portion (12) is curved, the core material and the rubber tube are not displaced due to frictional force. Therefore, this elastic cord is fixed to the left and right ends (14) of the core material. Since the core material has a shape for hanging over the ears and the elastic cord is a rubber tube, the ears do not hurt even when worn for a long time.

Clips (30) are tied to both ends of the elastic string (20) and attached to the lower corners of the filter. The filter material (40) is a stack of two non-woven fabrics. Folds (42) are provided on the left and right edges of the filter, and are sandwiched and fixed by auxiliary clips (32). Since the core material is curved so as to be in close contact with the left and right cheeks and the back of the nose, and the pleats are formed by providing the folds, no gap can be formed on the four sides of the mask.

[Third Embodiment]
A third embodiment of the frame and sanitary mask of the present invention is shown in FIG. FIG. 6 shows a completed planar mask. The core material (10) of this example is a copper wire having a diameter of 1 mm. The left and right ends (14) of the core are placed on the front of the cheek. The elastic cord (20) is a silicone rubber tube having an outer diameter of 3 mm. The shaded core material is inserted into the elastic cord. The left and right ends of the rubber tube are hollow. By using copper wire and silicone rubber, this mask frame can be sterilized with hot water.

Since the nose pad portion (12) is curved, the core material and the rubber tube are not displaced due to frictional force. Therefore, this elastic cord is fixed to the left and right ends (14) of the core material. The elastic cord (20) connected to the core member connects the ends of the elastic cord. This elastic cord is inserted into two holes provided in a perforated belt (22) made of polyethylene resin. The size of the hole is the same as the outer diameter of the elastic cord. By pressing the perforated belt against the back of the head with one hand and pulling the knot with the other hand, the elastic cord can be easily tensioned.

In this embodiment, two other elastic cords (20) are used to tie the clip (30) to one end. The length of the elastic cord can be adjusted by changing the position where the clip is tied. The opposite end of the clip is ring shaped and engages both ends of a hook belt (24) located on the back side of the neck. The hook belt (24) is made of polyethylene resin and is bent so that both ends thereof protrude rearward.

The filter material (40) in this example is gauze. A commercially available gauze is folded, covered with the core material (10), and folded in half. Since the core material is curved so as to be in close contact with the left and right cheeks and the back of the nose, there is no gap in the upper edge of the mask. The lower edge and the left and right edges are brought into close contact with the face by the tension of the elastic string tied to the clip.
