Description
The present invention relates to a fall prevention device configured so that ladders and stepladders do not fall.
The ladder is used by leaning against a building or tree, with the lower end of the leg on the ground. The stepladder is configured such that both legs are opened in an inverted V shape and the lower end of the leg is placed on the ground.
On the other hand, a tripod type stepladder is composed of a combination of a ladder and a pole that supports it, and can be used in the same way by spreading it in an inverted V shape and placing the lower end of the ladder and pole legs on the ground. .
Originally, a place where ladders and stepladders are placed is ideally a flat, non-slip, stable ground contact surface, but there are many cases where it is not flat or slippery in actual work.
In particular, tripod type stepladders are mostly used in undulating gardens such as pruning trees and hanging snow.
For ladders and stepladders so far, various countermeasures for preventing slipping and stabilization have been devised to prevent falling, but the effect of easily preventing falling is not obtained.
Conventionally, as a safety device aiming at a fall-preventing effect, a type in which an auxiliary tool is attached has been proposed. For example, “Standing / pruning step of planting” according to registered utility model No. 3111306 can prevent a fall by attaching a detachable auxiliary leg.
By the way, the conventional ladders / stepladders having the function of preventing the fall must prepare an auxiliary device for preventing the fall and attach the auxiliary device to the main body when in use. Therefore, there is a problem that the installation work is troublesome and the auxiliary device must be carried together.
As described above, the conventional ladders and stepladders for preventing overturning have the above-described problems. The problem to be solved by the present invention is this problem, which is composed of a ladder / stepladder and a device attached to the leg, and provides a ladder / stepladder that can greatly improve the fall prevention effect.
The present invention is configured such that a fall-preventing effect can be obtained by using a device attached to a leg portion of a ladder or a stepladder. Unlike conventional ladders and stepladders, it is configured so that it is not necessary to carry or attach an auxiliary device for preventing falls. That is, the ladder / stepladder is provided with a “stab” that can be stabbed into the ground at the lower end of the leg, and the stab is configured to slide along the leg. Therefore, the tip (lower end) of the piercing tool is pointed so as to pierce the ground. And the operation part is provided in the side part of the stab tool, and the stab tool can be stabbed into the ground by pressing the operation part downward.
By simply placing the ladder or stepladder leg on the ground and piercing the piercing tool into the ground, the fall prevention effect can be greatly improved by a very simple procedure.
When moving or clearing ladders or stepladders, the piercing tool can be easily removed from the ground by pulling up the main body, so that it does not take time to release the fall prevention device.
Of course, when all the legs are placed on the soil, even if one leg of the ladder or stepladder is on the soil and the other leg is on a stone or concrete surface, The effect is very large by using a device for preventing the fall of the placed leg.
In this way, according to the state of the use environment, it is possible to ensure safety by using only one attached fall prevention device, using two, or using them separately.
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which (1) represents a stepladder and (2) represents a piercing tool. The stepladder (1) has legs (3) and (3) on both sides, and treads (4) and (4) are suspended between the legs (3) and (3). This figure is a front view of a stepladder (1), and the ends of a plurality of horizontal step bars (4), (4) are connected to both legs (3), (3) to form one leg (5 The stepladder (1) has an inverted V shape in which the upper ends of the legs (5) and (5) are connected to each other.
The operator opens both legs (5) and (5) at an appropriate angle to form an inverted V shape, and the lower ends of both legs (3) and (3) constituting the leg (5) are on the ground (6). Placed.
In this case, since the legs (3) and (3) simply placed on the ground (6) lack stability, in the present invention, the piercing tool (2) is attached to the lower ends of the legs (3) and (3). ) And (2) are attached, and the piercing tools (2) and (2) are pierced into the ground (6).
Therefore, there is no skidding of the legs (3) and (3), and the stepladder (1) can stand up stably.
FIG. 2 shows the lower end of the leg (3) constituting the stepladder (1). A flange (7) is provided at the lower end of the leg (3) to increase the contact area with the ground (6), and the leg (3) has a continuous hole (8) formed in the longitudinal direction. . That is, the leg (3) is constituted by a hollow pipe, and the collar (7) having a larger outer diameter is attached to the lower end thereof.
The side surface of the leg (3) has an L-shaped groove (11) composed of a longitudinal groove (9) and a lateral groove (10), and the L-shaped groove penetrates the hole (8).
FIG. 3 is a specific example showing the piercing tool (2). This piercing tool (2) is a rod having a circular section with a sharp tip (lower end), and can be fitted into the hole (8) of the leg (3). In addition, it is a dimensional tolerance that does not rattle and is slidable in the vertical direction along the hole (8) of the leg (3). And the operation part (12) is extended outward from the side surface of the puncture tool (2), and this operation part (12) is screwed and attached to the screw hole provided in the puncture tool (2).
By the way, the piercing tool (2) can be fitted into the hole (8) from the lower end of the leg (3), and the operation portion (12) can be loosely fitted into the L-shaped groove (11). Of course, since the piercing tool (2) cannot be fitted into the hole (8) with the operation part (12) attached, the screw hole of the piercing tool (2) in the state of fitting into the hole (8) is operated. The screw part of the part (12) can be screwed and attached.
Here, if the operation unit (12) slides along the longitudinal groove (9), the piercing tool (2) slides through the hole (8) and the tip of the piercing tool comes and goes from the lower end of the leg (3). And if an operation part (12) fits in a horizontal groove (10), a stab tool (2) cannot be slid and the front-end | tip will not protrude from the lower end of a leg (3).
Here, the means for piercing the piercing tool (2) into the ground is free. However, if the stepladder (1) is stood on the ground and is stepped on the operation unit (12), then the piercing tool (2) is provided. The tip can be stabbed into the ground.
By the way, although the embodiment described above is directed to the stepladder (1), the same applies to the ladder. A tripod type stepladder can be configured in the same manner.
