In fishing lures, there is a lure called metal vibration. Metal vibrations are usually equipped with double hooks (Fig. 1). Due to the nature of the lure, the double hook attachment rate is high for reasons such as less rooting. When using metal vibration, an operation method called “suckling” that moves the fishing rod up and down is common, and when sucking, the fishing line occasionally sags, so it hooks on the barb inside the double hook and is called shrimp (Fig. 2), it becomes inoperable (does not move correctly), and that throw is wasted.

By making the double hook barb not on the inside (inverb) but on the outside (outbarb) (FIG. 3), the fishing line is not caught. Of course, the same effect can be obtained with barbless (no bark).

The double hook attached to the metal vibration will be outbarbed so that the fishing line will not remain entangled.
