A headrest that can be retrofitted to the back of the chair,
A headrest body that supports the back of the person seated in the chair;
A headrest mounting portion to which the headrest main body is fixed and mounted on the backrest;

The headrest according to claim 1, wherein the headrest main body is detachably fixed to the headrest mounting portion.

The headrest mounting part is
A rod-shaped member;
A fixture for detachably fixing the headrest main body provided on the upper end of the rod-shaped member;
A mounting member provided at an intermediate portion of the rod-shaped member, for mounting the rod-shaped member on an upper edge of the backrest;
A contact portion provided at a lower end portion of the rod-shaped member, abutting on the back side of the backrest portion;
