In this conventional optical reflection type detection device, when the color of the reflection surface of the detection object 8 changes, the amount of light reflected is displaced, and the amount of light received by the light receiving phototransistor 7 changes. Therefore, there is a problem that the detection of the distance 1 is not constant.

In this embodiment, a plurality of optical fibers are arranged in a line at the tip 2 'of the optical fiber 2 for receiving light.
The reflected light of the detection object 8 shown in FIG. 2A enters the distal end 2 'of the light receiving optical fiber 2 within the range of the reflection angle, is guided by this optical fiber, and is transmitted to the one-dimensional CCD 4 shown in FIG. The light receiving range of the light receiving element is converted into a digital signal in the one-dimensional CCD 4 by irradiating the reflected light of the end 3, and the detection controller 6 performs an arithmetic process to obtain the light receiving range amount as shown in FIG. The distance l is detected from the distance.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the distance to the object is detected by the amount of the light receiving range of the reflected light, the color of the reflection surface of the object changes, and the amount of reflected light is displaced. Even if the amount of light received by the light receiving element is displaced, the light hits the light, and if the amount of the light receiving range is constant, the distance detection from the detected object is constant.
