そこで、その霜の附着部分を蒸しタオルで拭いたりお湯をかけたり、自動車を暖気運転をしたり霜の溶けるのを待つ等などで、霜の除去をしなければならなくなっているが、面倒なことと、それ以上に蒸しタオルやお湯かけは、ガラスが割れる危険性があるなどの問題が起こっている。
