ベース体１はポリ塩化ビニールＰＶＣからなり、１ｍｍ位の薄皮のものからなり、空気栓３から空気を注入することにより楕円形の形状に膨出する。空気圧は特に限定するものではないが７ｋｇ／ｃｍ^２以下の通常使用されているものである。
一方、被包体２は布体であり、特に材質を限定するものではなく、この実施例では前記のように２色（黒と赤）に２等分に色別したものからなる。なお、このヘルススポーツ用ボールを用いて色々の運動が出来、例えばバレーボールやストレッチ運動等を行うことが出来る。また、日本ヘルスバレーボール連盟ではバレーボールの競技にこのものを使用しているようであり、その他色々の競技が行われているようである。FIG. 1 shows the appearance of a health sports ball that is color-coded in two colors.
