2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, this type of hydrophone is provided with a vibration-receiving element for sensing underwater-borne sound and the like placed in a cylindrical rubber film, immersed in insulating oil around the periphery, and subjected to a water pressure treatment. Things. The receiving wave element of this hydrophone uses a flexural vibrator in which a piezoelectric plate is adhered to a vibration plate, and the two receiving wave elements are arranged near both end surfaces of a cylinder. Therefore, the vibration receiving sensitivity of this hydrophone is high at both end surfaces of the cylinder and decreases at the center of the side trunk.
When observing the seafloor propagation sound, this hydrophone is dropped into the sea and rolled to the seabed. Also, an underwater cable for transmitting observation data to an observation station on the sea or on the land is attached from the side body of the hydrophone.

As described above, when the conventional hydrophone is installed on the seabed, it is dropped on the seabed with the underwater cable attached thereto, and especially in the case of deep sea, the installation place or the installation on the seabed. There is a problem that it is extremely difficult to change the posture. In addition, since it is not in a fixed state after installation, there is a problem that the installation posture or position changes due to a natural phenomenon such as an earthquake, and stable observation cannot be performed.

In FIG. 1, a hydrophone main body 1, a grip portion 2 for a manipulator mounted on the upper portion of the center of the body side, and a spear-shaped fixing rod 3 mounted on a lower portion of the center of the body side are mainly constituted. Unit is configured. A ring 5 made of titanium is provided at the center of the body side of the hydrophone main body 1, and a grip portion 3 and a fixing bar 2 are respectively mounted on screw holes of a mounting seat 6 provided on the upper and lower outer periphery of the ring 5. I have. Since the grip portion 3 and the fixing bar 2 can be easily removed and attached, it is easy to transport by removing them when transporting. Further, since the underwater cable 4 is inserted through the hollow portion of the grip 3, the underwater cable 4 is not obstructed when the manipulator grips the grip 3.

The hydrophone main body 1 is such that a vibration receiving element for detecting underwater sound is placed in a cylindrical rubber film and immersed in insulating oil to perform a water pressure resistant treatment. The sensed underwater sound is transmitted by an underwater cable to an amplifier housed in another pressure-resistant housing, amplified there, and transmitted by an underwater cable to an observation device on water or on land.

In this method of installing a hydrophone, a hydrophone is first dropped on a seabed at a predetermined position, and then the installation place is fixed or moved using a submersible or the like equipped with a manipulator (magic hand). . At this time, when the grip portion 3 is gripped by the manipulator and fixed at that position, the fixing rod 2 is pushed to the seabed to the trunk side of the main body and fixed. In the case of relocation, the grip portion 3 is gripped and the submersible is moved and fixed at a predetermined position.

As described above, the hydrophone according to the present invention is provided with a grip for a manipulator of a submersible and a fixing rod for fixing the submarine to the seabed. Can be fixed in place. Therefore, there is an effect that there is no fear that the observation data becomes discontinuous due to a change in the installation attitude, and that the installation location can be easily changed.
