Description

The present invention relates to an orthodontic apparatus, and more particularly to a mouthpiece-type orthodontic apparatus that simultaneously corrects an upper dentition and a lower dentition of a patient with a large force.

There are two types of conventional orthodontic appliances: a conventional orthodontic appliance that performs orthodontics with a bracket and a wire, and an inconspicuous orthodontic appliance that performs orthodontics with a mouthpiece-type orthodontic appliance. Both of these two types of orthodontic appliances adjust the teeth little by little, but each has advantages and disadvantages.

For the patient, the orthodontic apparatus has a preferable orthodontic effect, but it does not look very good, is not easy to clean, and may damage the patient's oral cavity.

For the patient, the mouthpiece type orthodontic device looks good, is easy to clean, and does not easily damage the oral cavity of the patient, but the patient's teeth move because the rigid structure moves the teeth to perform corrective treatment. If it was difficult, the orthodontic treatment could not be performed, and the orthodontic treatment took a long time. In addition, when a part of the patient's dentition is missing or a denture, it is difficult to use the mouthpiece type orthodontic apparatus. Further, the mouthpiece type orthodontic apparatus is more expensive than the orthodontic apparatus, and the orthodontic treatment is completed and the mouthpiece type orthodontic apparatus is removed to correct the upper and lower dentitions of the patient separately. In some cases, the occlusion between the upper dentition and the lower dentition becomes worse.

In addition, any orthodontic appliance can not know whether the patient is using it as directed by the doctor, so the orthodontic treatment is completed and the corrective effect as expected by the patient cannot be obtained. In some cases, medical disputes occurred between the patient and the doctor.

Therefore, there is a mouthpiece type orthodontic device that has a corrective effect, has a good appearance, is easy to clean, does not damage the patient's oral cavity, can be used even when teeth are missing, and does not adversely affect the bite of teeth. It was sought after.

The sensor chip preferably measures temperature or pressure.

The mouthpiece-type orthodontic device of the present invention simultaneously corrects the upper and lower dentitions of the patient with the patient's biting force and a large external force, and it looks good, is easy to clean, It has the advantage that it is difficult to hurt, and even if a part of the patient's dentition is missing, the remaining teeth can be corrected, and after the orthodontic treatment is completed, the upper dentition and the lower dentition Prevents adverse effects on occlusion, and the sensor chip allows the patient to wear the corrector as directed by the doctor and find the cause when the corrective effect is not as expected when correction is complete , Prevent medical disputes from occurring.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a mouthpiece type correction apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram illustrating a state when the patient uses the mouthpiece-type correction device according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a mouthpiece type correcting device according to a second embodiment of the present invention.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited thereby.

(First embodiment)
Please refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a mouthpiece type correction apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram illustrating a state when the patient uses the mouthpiece-type correction device according to the first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the mouthpiece-type orthodontic apparatus 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention simultaneously corrects an upper dentition 1100 and a lower dentition 1200 of a patient 1000. The mouthpiece type correction apparatus 100 includes an elastic main body 10, an elastic upper correction unit 20, and an elastic lower correction unit 30.

The elastic correction part 20 is disposed on the top of the elastic body 10 and corresponds to the upper dentition 1100. The elastic lower correction part 30 is disposed at the bottom of the elastic main body 10 and corresponds to the lower tooth row 1200.

The elastic main body 10, the elastic correction part 20 and the elastic correction part 30 are made of EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Polymer) or a polymer in which cotton, artificial fiber and rubber are mixed, and have a high elastic modulus. Therefore, when the patient 1000 bites the mouthpiece-type orthodontic apparatus 100, the upper dentition 1100 and the lower dentition 1200 are forcibly corrected by the elastic structures of the upper elastic correction unit 20 and the lower elastic correction unit 30. In other words, if the upper dentition 1100 and the lower dentition 1200 do not move and shift to the positions defined by the elastic upper correction part 20 and the lower elastic correction part 30, the biting force and the positioning of the elastic structure The upper dentition 1100 moves and shifts relative to the lower dentition 1200, and the dentition is corrected. In the first half of the orthodontic treatment of the patient 1000, the upper dentition 1100 is quickly moved with respect to the lower dentition 1200 by the material characteristics of the elastic upper correction unit 20 and the lower elastic correction unit 30 and the biting force. In the second half of the correction treatment, the correction effect can be effectively maintained.

As can be seen from the above, the mouthpiece-type orthodontic apparatus 100 not only corrects the upper dentition 1100 and the lower dentition 1200 by its own elastic structure, but also by the biting force of the upper dentition 1100. And the lower dentition 1200 is corrected. Therefore, even if a part of the dentition of the patient 1000 is missing, the remaining dentition is not adversely affected. In other words, the mouthpiece-type orthodontic apparatus 100 of the present invention can perform orthodontic treatment on more patients 1000 than the conventional mouthpiece-type orthodontic apparatus.

In addition, the elastic body 10, the elastic upper correction part 20, and the lower elastic correction part 30 have a simple structure and high light transmittance, so that the patient 1000 looks good even when using the mouthpiece type correction apparatus 100, and is cleaned. It has the feature that it is easy to prevent damaging the oral cavity of the patient.

Further, when the upper dentition 1100 and the lower dentition 1200 are corrected by the elastic upper correction part 20 and the lower elastic correction part 30, respectively, the relative positions of the upper elastic correction part 20 and the lower elastic correction part 30 are determined by the elastic body 10. By fixing, it is possible to prevent the occlusion of the upper dentition 1100 and the lower dentition 1200 from worsening even after the orthodontic treatment of the patient 1000 is completed.

Further, when the mouthpiece type correction device 100 is manufactured, in order to increase the structural strength of the mouthpiece type correction device 100, the elastic body 10, the elastic upper correction portion 20, and the lower elastic correction portion 30 are heated and melted to be integrated. May be used.

Although not shown in the drawing, before manufacturing the upper elastic correction unit 20 and the lower elastic correction unit 30, first, data of the upper dentition 1100 and the lower dentition 1200 of the patient 1000 are collected and preliminarily obtained by a computer. You may make a plan.

As can be seen from the above, the mouthpiece type orthodontic apparatus of the present invention corrects the upper and lower dentitions of the patient with the patient's biting force and a large external force, thereby shortening the time for the orthodontic treatment. can do. In addition, the mouthpiece type correction device of the present invention has the features that it looks good, is easy to clean, and can prevent the patient's oral cavity from being damaged. Moreover, even if the patient's dentition is missing, the remaining dentition can be corrected. In addition, even after the orthodontic treatment is completed, the occlusion between the upper dentition and the lower dentition is not adversely affected.

(Second Embodiment)
Please refer to FIG. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a mouthpiece type correcting device according to a second embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the structure of the mouthpiece type correction apparatus 200 according to the second embodiment of the present invention is substantially the same as that of the mouthpiece type correction apparatus 100. The mouthpiece type correction device 200 includes at least one sensor chip 40 provided in the elastic body 10. Further, the installation position of the sensor chip 40 is not particularly limited, and the sensor chip 40 may be installed in the elastic correction part 20 or the elastic correction part 30. For example, when the mouthpiece type correction device 200 includes a plurality of sensor chips 40, the sensor chips 40 may be installed in at least two of the elastic body 10, the elastic upper correction unit 20, and the lower elastic correction unit 30. Good.

The sensor chip 40 is used for measuring temperature or pressure.

When the temperature is measured by the sensor chip 40, the room temperature and the temperature of the oral cavity of the patient 1000 are different. If the patient 1000 can determine whether or not the patient 1000 wears the mouthpiece-type correction device 200 according to the time instructed by the doctor, and the correction effect of the patient 1000 is not as expected after the correction is completed, the patient 1000 and the doctor can search for the cause based on the data recorded in the sensor chip 40, so that a medical dispute can be prevented.

When the pressure is measured by the sensor chip 40, the occlusion or tongue movement of the patient 1000 is measured to determine whether the patient 1000 is using the mouthpiece-type correction device 200, and the different recorded in the sensor chip 40. Based on the pressure change at the time point, the doctor evaluates whether or not the patient 1000 appropriately wears the mouthpiece type correction device 200 according to the time and method as instructed. When the patient 1000 feels that the correction effect is not as expected even after the correction is completed, the patient 1000 and the doctor can search for the cause based on the data recorded by the sensor chip 40, and thus a medical dispute occurs. Can be prevented.

As can be seen from the above, the mouthpiece-type correction device according to the second embodiment of the present invention has the advantages of the first embodiment, and the patient is mouthpiece-type according to the temperature or pressure measured by the sensor chip. Since it is possible to determine whether or not the orthodontic device has been used and the doctor can determine whether or not the patient has worn the mouthpiece-type orthodontic device as directed by the doctor, it is possible to prevent medical disputes from occurring. .
