そのため、次のような問題点があった。
（イ）食器を洗うスポンジ類を収めるためのラックが、がさばり、洗い場に突き出ているため、洗い作業に支障が出る。
（ロ）吸盤で固定するラックは、時間がたつと滑り外れやすい。
（ハ）スポンジ類を収めるラックは、設置場所の範囲が狭まれる。
