(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 円筒状の流路を有する弁箱と、この弁箱
の流路の軸線に対して垂直で、かつ、その流路の中心部
を通る軸心の周りに回転自在な状態で上記弁箱に保持さ
れた弁棒と、この弁棒の回転に伴い上記流路内を回転し
て該流路を開閉する円形の弁体と、この弁体の外周部に
取り付けられた円形の弁座と、上記弁箱の流路の内周部
に取り付けられて、上記弁体が全閉位置まで回転された
とき、その外周部の弁座が食い込んで止水する弾性環状
弁座とを備えたバタフライ弁において、 上記弁箱側に取り付けられる弾性環状弁座は、金型成形
されたゴムシートからなり、内表面の全体形状として、
管軸に垂直な切断面において円形状をなすとともに、
体の回転軸心に対して垂直で管軸心を含む切断面上で対
向する両側部における内表面が、弁体回転軌跡円の接線
に対して異なる傾斜角度を有し、弁体の円形弁座と弁箱
の弾性環状弁座とが接する全閉位置から弁体がさらに回
転すると弾性環状弁座における円形弁座の食い込み量が
増大する疑似円錐形状をなすことを特徴とする弾性弁座
付バタフライ弁。
1.
