Description

The present invention relates to a shock absorber that is used by adhering to the top of a helmet outer surface.

Conventionally, helmets have been frequently used in construction sites, factories, etc., but there are currently no shock absorbers for protecting the head and neck that are attached to the helmet.

Conventionally used helmets consist of a substantially hollow hemispherical cap body made of a rigid material, an interior body and a chin strap provided inside the cap body, and are worn on the head to ensure its safety. Is. That is, the existing helmet aims to reduce the impact applied to the head by the material used, shape, interior, liner, and the like.
However, in a narrow field passage, it often occurs that the head is hit against an existing member when passing through the passage. This is partly inadvertent, but the helmet that is not used in daily life raises the top of the head by about 50 millimeters when worn, so it is difficult to be aware of this constantly during work. In particular, when a worker at a construction site or the like passes under a low scaffold, the top of the helmet is often struck against the pipe at the top of the scaffold. At this time, the impact is transmitted to the cervical spine and a sharp pain is felt.
Since this cervical vertebra is not structured to soften the impact from the upper part, it will feel considerable impact and pain, but there is no appropriate solution for this.
In view of the above, the present invention was devised for the purpose of greatly mitigating the impact, which is a problem, by adding a shock absorber to the top of the helmet.

As a means for solving the problems, the present plan has the following configuration.
That is, a base main body made of a sheet-like foamed synthetic resin having an appropriate thickness is provided, and the base main body is formed of a central base and a plurality of extending portions extending continuously outward from the central base, and an adhesive layer is formed on the lower surface of the base main body. Provide. The present proposal is a shock absorber for a helmet having the above configuration.

According to the present plan, the base body of the foamed synthetic resin is adhered to the upper part of the outer surface of the helmet, and each base part adheres downward from the upper part of the helmet. Even if it collides, the impact can be relieved by the pressure deformation of the main part of the base, and a useful article that can greatly relieve the impact on the helmet wearer, particularly damage to the cervical spine can be obtained. In addition, since this product is lightweight and not bulky, it can be used like a normal helmet.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a base main body, which is a sheet-like foamed synthetic resin body having a substantially cross shape in plan view.
Reference numeral 2 denotes an adhesive layer formed on the entire lower surface of the base main body, and reference numeral 3 denotes a release paper which is temporarily adhered to the lower surface adhesive layer in the same shape as the base main body. The central part of the main part of the base is the central base 4, and each extending part is formed integrally with the central base. Reference numeral 5 denotes a front extension part that is extended from the central base by a predetermined length and a predetermined length. Reference numeral 6 denotes a rear extension part that extends in a direction opposite to the front extension part. The length from the central base part is shorter than the front extension part. The Reference numeral 7 denotes a side extension, which is a part extending in the opposite direction from the central base in the direction orthogonal to the front extension and the rear extension, and is formed shorter than the rear extension.
When using the present plan, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 5, the release paper is removed from the main body of the base to expose the adhesive layer, and then the central base is adhered to the uppermost part of the central outer surface of the helmet. Are adhered to the upper surface of each helmet. In this state, wear it on the head like a normal helmet. As described above, even if the vicinity of the top of the helmet collides with another object during work movement, this shock absorber becomes a collision point, and the shock is absorbed and greatly relaxed by the compression compression deformation of the shock absorber, Safety protection function is demonstrated.
Since most of the movement is in the forward direction of the human body, the front extension part is formed longer than the other extension parts, with an emphasis on countermeasures against a frontal collision with a high impact frequency.

As mentioned above, although this plan was described, this plan is added to the existing helmet to reduce the impact on the human body when another object collides with the helmet. As described above, there has been no such means in the past, and it has been necessary to rely on the operator's attention. However, the present work enables safer and more reliable work and movement.
Since the proposed product is lightweight and compact, it can be easily stored and transported. Also, because it is used with adhesive, a predetermined number of stocks can be stocked and removed and used as needed. The presence / absence can be easily determined visually. Since the proposed product has a simple structure, it can be produced relatively inexpensively.
In the example, the cross-shaped uniform width extending portion is used. The above-described examples are just a few examples, and the thickness and shape may be determined as appropriate. As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a useful article that can alleviate the impact on the helmet and increase the safety level of the human body.
