写真方式を用いたプリンタの定着装置において、下フレ
ームと支持ユニット間に、支持ユニットの端部が下フレ
ームに回動可能に係合する係合機構部及び下フレームと
支持ユニット間の位置決めを行う嵌合機構部を設け、前
記係合機構部を、下フレームに設けた係合軸部及びこの
係合軸部に係合する支持ユニットに横U形に切欠いて形
成した係合凹部により構成するとともに、前記嵌合機構
部を、下フレームに円弧状に窪ませて形成した嵌合形状
部及びこの嵌合形状部に嵌合する支持ユニットに備える
ベアリングにより構成し、さらに、上フレームと支持ユ
ニット間に、フレームの閉時に支持ユニットを下フレー
ム側に加圧する加圧機構部を設けてなることを特徴とす
るプリンタの定着装置。
