Abstract

【課題】孟宗竹のように肉厚の竹を割る時に用いる竹割道具を提供する。【解決手段】鋼鉄の刀身上部に打撃部を有し、下端が鋭角になる分割刃部を形成し、下方にむけて長尺の把手部を取り付けられている竹割道具をハンマーで上部打撃部を打撃し刀身を打ち込み、長尺の把手を右、又は左に振ると梃子によりたやすく割れる。【選択図】図２

孟宗竹のように肉厚の竹を割る時に用いる竹割道具である
孟宗竹のような肉厚の竹を割る時、鉈を用いるのが一般的である。

考察の概要
考察が解決しようとする課題
孟宗竹のように肉厚の竹を割る時、鉈のように従来の竹割道具では大変苦労している。
本考案は、この問題を解決するためになされたものである。
課題が解決しようとする手段
本考案の竹割道具は、縦断面が、略くさび状の長方形の鋼材で形成した、刀身（１）上部を打撃部（２）とし、尖った下端を刃部（３）とし、この刃身（１）の一方の側端に長尺の把手部（５）を下方に向け取り付けたことを特長とする竹割道具
考察の効果
竹の断面に本考案の竹割道具を当て、打撃部（２）をハンマー等で打撃を与えて縦割りし、把手部（５）を右又は左へ振ると、梃子の原理が作用し簡単に竹を割ることができる。
本考案の一例を示す説明図 本考案の竹割道具で竹を割っている図である。 竹割道具にを右へ振って、竹が割れた図である。
本考案の実施の一例を図１を用いて説明する。
縦断面が、略くさび状で長方形（たて６ｃｍ よこ１２ｃｍ）の鋼材で刀身１を形成し、上部（幅８ｍｍ）の平たん部を打撃部２とし、下部下端部を刃部３とし、この刃身１の一方側端に把手部（長さ１００ｃｍ）の鉄管材（直径４ｃｍ）を取り付けた竹割道具
次にこの実施例を用いて、実際に竹を割るところの状況を図２及び、図３を用いて説明する。

孟宗竹のような肉厚の太い竹を割るのに便利な道具である。
