本考案で用いる光拡散シート(3)としては片面が粒面にされている、半透明シートをいい、液晶表示板に用いられているシートがより好適である。
本考案では上記模様を有するシート(2)と上記光拡散シート(3)とを重ねあわせて複合シート(4)とする。
複合シート(4)の作り方としては全面接着剤等ではり合せても良いが、周囲のみを接着する方が好ましい。
この複合シート(4)は照明器具の照明面として用いる。
角筒形の場合は周囲四面と天井面の五面、丸筒形の場合は周囲全面と天井面をこの複合シートで作る。
光源としてはチップLEDを用いる。
六連型や十二連型のチップLEDが好ましい。
光電源を置く位置としては、照明器具の下方又は底部が好ましい.
底部に置いても、光拡散シートの効果により照明面の下方も上方も天井面も同じ様な照度が得られるものです。

以下本考案の実施の一例と図面を用いて説明する。
模様を有するシートとして西陣織の繊機で用いる、紋紙を使用した(図1)。

この紋紙の片面に光拡散シートとして株式会社ツジテン社製「PCM3」光拡散シートを粗面側を表側にして周囲を接着剤で施こして重せあわせ複合シート(4)とした(図3)。
この複合シートたて33cmよこ13cmのものを4枚13cm×13cmを1枚用意し木製の溝付き桟(6)を用いてつくった高さ38cmよこ16cm、の照明器具の枠体にこの複合シート(4)を側面に4枚と天井1枚を桟の溝を利用してはめこんだ。
底面はアルミ板で作った。この底面、内部上部に6連チップLED(5)を2本並べて水平におき、ここからリード線にてコンセントにつないだ(図5)。
こうして得た間接照明器具(1)は照明を入れたときの紋紙の模様が浮き出て、おちついた雰囲気を、又紋様によっては、日本調に洋風にも合うのでは、ないかと思われる。
図5の(ロ)は本考案によって丸筒型の照明器具を得た図を示す。
