5A socket of an optical connector that simplifies a combination system and restricts a moving amount of a shutter within a predetermined range.
A socket connector of an optical connector is incorporated in a housing in which an opening for inserting a plug is formed, an optical element held in the housing, and an opening of the housing, and is supported rotatably in the housing. A shutter having a hinge shaft, and a spring member for maintaining the shutter in a closed state of the opening. Notches are formed so as to penetrate through portions adjacent to the respective side walls of the bottom plate of the housing, and the hinge shafts of the shutters are rotatably supported on the side walls corresponding to the notches. When each bearing part is formed and the shutter is mounted in the opening, each side wall expands elastically in the outward direction, so that both side walls are not supported until the hinge shaft is supported by the bearing part. The initial state has been recovered.

Description
The present invention relates to an optical connector socket, and more particularly to an optical connector socket that combines a shutter.
In this type of optical connector socket, the plug of the optical connector is inserted into the plug insertion hole, thereby optically connecting the light receiving element or light emitting element held by the former to the plug, and transmitting optical signals. Although the intended purpose is achieved by making it possible, it has been a problem from the beginning how to close the plug insertion hole when the plug is not inserted, that is, when it is not used.
If the plug insertion hole is left open when not in use, it is inevitable that dust or other foreign matter will enter the interior of the plug, and dirt will adhere to the optical elements held inside, resulting in a decrease in light transmission efficiency. In the end, the predetermined optical signal transmission may become impossible. Therefore, initially, a configuration was adopted in which the plug insertion hole was closed by inserting a protective cap. However, if the opening is closed with a protective cap when not in use, the above-mentioned fears are eliminated. However, when inserting the plug of the optical connector, the protective cap must naturally be removed, and after the plug is removed, the protective cap is removed. Must be reinserted. For this reason, there are problems such as troublesome operation and storage of the protective cap when the plug is inserted, and a configuration in which an openable / closable shutter is disposed at the opening of the plug insertion hole is used instead. .

Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following advantages, and the both side walls are arranged to be cantilevered by the notches and can be elastically deformed. This reduces the number of parts and simplifies the assembly method compared to the prior art. The amount of movement of the
A preferred embodiment of a socket of an optical connector according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings with reference to FIGS. A
The
A
The
The
When the
The
Since the
The
Although the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the best embodiment, the embodiment is merely illustrative and is not limited thereto.
