【解決手段】イソプレンゴム製で、縦５０〜１３０ｃｍ、横４０〜９０ｃｍ、厚さ１．５〜２．５ｍｍの平板状で、四隅を１／４円弧状に丸めた平面略矩形状であり、ＪＩＳ・Ｋ６２５３タイプＡの硬度（１９９３年制定）が４５〜６０であり、明るい薄茶色であり、上面に、深さ０．２〜０．４ｍｍの溝２で形成した島状凸部３を、１ｃｍ^２当たり１０〜１４個形成している。

（ト）イソプレンゴム製は、滑り難い。従って、飼犬が、この上を歩く際に滑ってしまうことがなく、よって、股関節を痛めてしまうといった問題を解決することができる。
（チ）浅く水を張った水槽内の底面に敷くことにより、犬が水中歩行のエクササイズをするとき、足が滑るのを防止することが出来る。
（リ）イソプレンゴムは、ゴムの中でも臭いがきつくなく、犬が苦手としない臭いであるため、好んでその上で休んだり、寝たりする。
（ヌ）縦５０〜１３０ｃｍ、横４０〜９０ｃｍ、厚さ１．５〜２．５ｍｍとしているので、大きすぎず、また厚すぎない。従って、容易に丸めて持ち運びすることができ、使用性に優れる。
（ル）四隅を、１／４円弧状に丸めているので、犬の足や人の足などが四隅に引っ掛かる危険性が少なく、使用性に優れる。
（ヲ）ＪＩＳ・Ｋ６２５３タイプＡの硬度が４５〜６０であるので、適度な柔軟性と剛性の両方を備える。従って、敷いた際の安定感があり、風などによって吹き飛んだり、折れ曲がることがない。そのため、取扱いが容易であり、使用性に優れる。
（ワ）明るい薄茶色（ベージュ）であり、この色は人間の肌色にきわめて近いので、人間の肌のように白色の明暗で映り、屋外犬が好む。従って、その上で休んだり寝たりし易い。
（カ）上面に、深さ０．２〜０．４ｍｍの溝２で形成した島状凸部３を、１ｃｍ^２当たり１０〜１４個形成しているので、さらに滑り難い。従って、飼犬が股関節を痛めるといった問題をさらに効果的に解決することができる。
（ヨ）屋内犬の場合には、布シートの下に、本考案のゴムマットを敷くことによりズレを防止し且つ布シートの下側の物体が汚れるのを防ぐことが出来、また簡単に水洗い出来る。 The dog mat according to this device exhibits the following effects.
