トレイ式光ディスク記録再生装置の場合、通常光ピックアップの汚れはクリーニングディスクで除去するが、光ピックアップに有孔遮蔽板を貼るとこの方法が使用出来なくなるので、この問題はシャーシ及びサブシャーシに対物レンズ清掃口を明け、カメラ用のレンズクリーナーで埃を吹き飛ばすことで解決出来る。
