[0004] When assembling the rotary switch constructed as described above, first, each elastic piece 6 of the rotor 2 is inserted from above the mounting hole 4 of the stator 1 so that the sliding contact portion 6a of the elastic piece 6 has its own elasticity. The claw portion 6b of the elastic piece 6 is pressed down along the inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole 4 while being deformed so as to bend inward against the pressure. When the rotor 2 is pushed down to a position where the upper surface of the claw portion 6b penetrates the mounting hole 4, the sliding contact portion 6a expands outward due to its own elasticity. As shown in FIG. 6b is locked to the lower edge 4a of the mounting hole 4, and the sliding contact portion 6a slides on the inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole 4. As a result, the rotor 2 is mounted on the stator 1 in a state where its position is regulated in the radial direction and the axial direction. Becomes

However, the elasticity (easiness of bending) of each elastic piece 6 is such that the sliding contact portion 6 which hangs from the top surface of the rotor 2 in the axial direction.
Therefore, if the overall length of the sliding contact portion 6a is set to be short, the elasticity of the elastic piece 6 is reduced and the elastic piece 6 is hardly bent, and it becomes difficult to insert the elastic piece 6 into the mounting hole 4. There are problems that the assemblability deteriorates and that the elastic piece 6 breaks during insertion. On the other hand, in order to reduce the height of the entire rotary switch, it is necessary to reduce the thickness of each of the stator 1 and the rotor 2, but as described above,
In consideration of the insertability and breakage of the elastic pieces 6, each elastic piece 6 integrally formed with the rotor 2 cannot be made too short, which is a major factor that hinders the thinning of the rotary switch. Was. Further, although each elastic piece 6 can be bent in the radial direction of the mounting hole 4, it cannot be bent in the axial direction of the mounting hole 4. As a result, a clearance is formed between the claw portion 6b of the elastic piece 6 and the lower edge portion 4a of the mounting hole 4, and the rotor 2 rattles in the axial direction with respect to the stator 1. There was also.

According to the above means, the elasticity of the elastic piece is determined by the sum of the length of the base extending outward in the radial direction and the length of the sliding contact portion extending in the circumferential direction from the tip of the base. Since only the component in the axial direction of the sliding contact portion extends in the axial direction of the mounting hole of the base portion and the sliding contact portion, the sufficient elasticity of the elastic piece as a whole is ensured. The length in the axial direction can be shortened. Also, since the elastic piece can be deformed in the axial direction by the base,
The rotor can be rotated without rattling.
In particular, when the sliding contact portion is formed in a crank shape and includes a first arm member extending in the axial direction of the mounting hole and a second arm member extending in the circumferential direction of the mounting hole, the sliding contact portion extends in the axial direction of the mounting hole. Since only the first arm member is provided, even if the size of the first arm member is reduced, the elasticity of the entire sliding contact portion is ensured by the second arm member.

When assembling the rotary switch configured as described above, first, each elastic piece 9 of the rotor 8 is inserted from above the mounting hole 4 of the stator 1, and the sliding contact portion 11 of the elastic piece 9 makes its own elastic contact. The claw portion 12 of the elastic piece 9 is pressed down along the inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole 4 while being deformed so as to bend inward against the pressure. Further, the rotor 8 is pushed down to a position where the lower surface of the rotor 8 abuts against the upper surface of the stator 1, and the base 10
Is pressed to deflect the elastic piece 9 downward, and when the upper surface of the claw portion 12 passes through the mounting hole 4, the sliding contact portion 11 expands outward due to its own elasticity. As a result, as shown in FIG. 2, the claw portion 12 of each elastic piece 9 is locked to the lower edge 4 a of the mounting hole 4, and the first and second arm members 11 a and 11 b of the sliding contact portion 11 are provided. Is in sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole 4. As a result, the rotor 8 is mounted on the stator 1 in a state where the position of the rotor 8 is regulated in the radial direction and the axial direction. Becomes

In the above embodiment, the elasticity of each elastic piece 9 integrally formed with the rotor 8 is determined by the length of the base 10 extending outward in the radial direction and the sliding contact portion 1 extending from the tip of the base 10.
1 is determined by the sum of the lengths of the first and second sliding members 11, and only the first arm member 11 a of the sliding contact portion 11 extends in the axial direction of the mounting hole 4 among the base portion 10 and the sliding contact portion 11. After ensuring sufficient elasticity of the entire elastic piece 9, the axial length of the elastic piece 9 can be reduced. For this reason, the elastic piece 9 is used to reduce the thickness of the rotary switch.
Since the axial dimension of the elastic piece 9 is shortened, the elastic piece 9 can be prevented from being damaged, and the elastic piece 9 can be easily snapped into the mounting hole 4. Further, since the elastic piece 9 can be deformed in the axial direction by the base 10, the claw 12 of the elastic piece 9 is set to be slightly smaller than the mounting hole 4 by setting the elastic piece 9 to be slightly smaller than the mounting hole 4. The rotor 8 can be brought into close contact with the lower edge 4a, and the rotor 8 can be rotated without rattling. Further, the sliding contact portion 11 of the elastic piece 9 is formed in a crank shape, and the first arm member 11a extending in the axial direction of the mounting hole 4 is provided.
And the second arm member 11b extending in the circumferential direction of the mounting hole 4, so that the second arm member 11b, which does not contribute to the increase in the dimension in the axial direction, causes the sliding contact portion 11
Sufficient elasticity can be given to the whole.
