前記収納ボックス２及び前記蓋体２０は、それぞれ厚い硬めの板紙を基材（図示せず）とし、この基材の表面側に布製の表面被覆シート材を、裏面側に紙製の裏面被覆シート材を貼り付けた、ハード構造としている。前記収納ボックス２における前記底壁板部５及び前記前壁板部６及び組立て構造の後壁板部７、左壁板部８、右壁板部９は、各壁板部の平面形状に対応した方形の厚い硬めの板紙を基材（図示せず）とし、この基材の表面側に布製の表面被覆シート材を、裏面側に紙製の裏面被覆シート材を貼り付け、且つこれらの表裏面被覆シート材で各壁板部の端部間に沿う境目の連接箇所（前記前壁板部用折れ線部１０や各折れ線部１２，１２，１２）を連接し、この連接箇所（前記前壁板部用折れ線部１０や各折れ線部１２，１２，１２）に位置する表裏面被覆シート材によって、各連接箇所（前記前壁板部用折れ線部１０や各折れ線部１２，１２，１２）をヒンジとして機能するように折り曲げ自在に構成している。また、前記縦折れ線部１３，１６を介して連接された折り込み片（後部折り込み片）１４，１７の折り曲げ構造も、前記した構成と同様に前記基材と表裏面被覆シート材によって構成される。また、前記蓋体２０も、前蓋部２５と後蓋部２６をそれぞれ厚い硬めの板紙から基材（図示せず）で形成し、この基材の表面側に布製の表面被覆シート材を、裏面側に紙製の裏面被覆シート材を貼り付け、且つこれらの表裏面被覆シート材で前後蓋部２５，２６の端部間に沿う境目の連接箇所（前記蓋板部用折れ線部２３）を連接し、この連接箇所（前記蓋板部用折れ線部２３）に位置する表裏面被覆シート材によって、連接箇所（前記蓋板部用折れ線部２３）をヒンジとして機能するように折り曲げ自在に構成している。

また、符号１８は前記前壁板部６に開口形成された開口窓部であり、この開口窓部１８は収納物品を外部から確認するのに有用であると共に、本考案の蓋付き収納ボックス１を後述する収納ラックの引き出し箱として用いた場合に、この開口窓部１８に手を掛けて蓋付き収納ボックス１を前方に引き出すのに有用である。なお、この開口窓部は前記後壁板部７にも形成してしても良い。
図４は本考案の好ましい使用例を示したものである。図４の符号３０は、前面が開口された複数の収納空間３０ａを棚板部によって上下に隔てて構成した収納ラック（カラーボックスと一般に称されている。）である。本考案の蓋付き収納ボックス１は、この収納ラック３０の各収納空間（引き出し収納空間）３０ａに入れて引出し用収納箱として用いた場合に便利であり、特に、図４の如く、本考案の蓋付き収納ボックス１を収納ラック３０の各収納空間（引き出し収納空間）３０ａに高さ方向の余分な空間を空けずにほぼジャストサイズで収容できる高さサイズの大きさに形成し、この収納ラック３０の各収納空間（引き出し収納空間）３０ａに入れてジャストサイズな引出し用収納箱として用いた場合において、大きな効果を発揮する。すなわち、収納物品の出し入れに際し、収納ラック３０の各収納空間（引き出し収納空間）３０ａから本考案の蓋付き収納ボックス１を少し前方に引き出し、前記前蓋部２５の前側を少し上方に開けるだけで、前蓋部２５の前方に設けられた前記係止用縁片２２ａによる前記前壁板部６の上端部の係止が解除され、前記前壁板部６が前記前壁板部用折れ線部１０を介して起立された閉位置から前方向に倒れた開位置へ自然に倒され、蓋付き収納ボックスの前面側がほぼ全開され、ほぼ全開された前面側から収納物品の出し入れを容易に行うことができる。
