【課題】溝付き軸受用溝形成工具の切削抵抗を低減すると共に、切削する溝幅を正確に形成する。
【解決手段】溝付き軸受用溝形成工具において、工具先端の載置体11の先端部111外周に多角形を構成する切削部材設定部111aを設け、その角部にそれぞれ菱形の第一切刃121a、122a、第二切刃121b、122bを備えた切削部材12をそれぞれの切刃が菱形となるように構成して設ける。
これらの切刃の幅が切削により形成する溝の幅となる。
