従来、健康法のひとつである半身浴は、高さが２段式となっている特別な浴槽を使用するか、若しくは、通常の浴槽内に適当な高さの椅子を設置する方法が行われてきたが、特別な浴槽はその用途が限定されてしまうこと、また、椅子を設置する方法は、椅子の高さが調節できないこと、さらには、半身浴は２０〜３０分の間、お湯に浸かることが良いとされ、従来のように固定された底部分に座り続けることは必ずしも居心地に優れているものとは言えなかった。
本案はその欠点を除くために考案されたもので、これを図面によって説明すれば、
イ図１（ａ）のように渡し棒１と横棒２に、ポリエステル製のネット３を取り付け、横棒２の端に取り付けたポリエステル製の高さ調整用の吊りベルト４（図１（ｂ））をフック５により前方の渡し棒６に取り付ける。
ロ図２のように、入浴する際には、両方のフックを手に持ち、座る動作開始と同時に渡し棒６に取り付けながら座る。
ハ図３のように、座る位置を湯の高さに合わせるために、事前に吊りベルト４の長さをプラスチック製留め具７（図１（ｂ））で調節し、座った後で、前方の渡し棒６を矢印のように前後に移動させることにより、好みの姿勢をとることができる。
本案は以上のような構造であるから、これを使用するとハンモックでゆったりと揺られながら入浴でき、簡単に半身浴をすることができる。
従来は、浴槽の底面や背面、又は半身浴用椅子の腰掛部など身体と接する部分に固形感があったため、ソファに身を沈めるような柔らかな触感が得られなかったが、ポリエステル製のネットをハンモックとして使用することにより、これまでに存在しなかった安楽な入浴感を得ることができる。また、ハンモックとなるネットの部分は、棒状のパイプに通してあるため、簡単に着脱できるため、干すことが容易であるし、交換用として安価に入手できる。
