Description

  The present invention generally relates to a bath mat used on a bottom surface in a bathtub.

  Various bath mats are commercially available and used, but no bath mat using a phosphorescent material (a material that absorbs light energy and emits light at night or in a light-free situation) is not yet known.

  On the other hand, entrance mats and stair mats using phosphorescent materials have been proposed (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). In the former, a frame containing a phosphorescent material or the like is provided around the entrance mat body, or an elastic material containing a phosphorescent material or the like is filled in a notch portion formed according to a desired pattern on the base fabric of the mat body. In either case, it is easy to visually recognize the mat arrangement or to obtain a high design effect by light.

The latter adds a phosphorescent part to the staircase mat body, or adds a slip-and-catch part blended with a phosphorescent material, enabling the position to be confirmed even in the dark and providing a staircase mat that does not slide or whisper.
