本考案に係るゴルフクラブヘッドは、図１及び図２に示すように、中空なゴルフクラブヘッド（１０）の上蓋（１５）に加工ゾーン（１２）が設けられ、該加工ゾーン（１２）の上側の削除基準面（１７）に複数の突出ブロック（１６）が一体に設けられると共に、下側に凹部（１４）が形成され、上蓋（１５）の周縁（１１）の肉厚がヘッド（１０）の他の部分と等しい０．９ｍｍである。
図３に示すように、前記削除基準面（１７）から凹部（１４）までの肉厚は０．６ｍｍであり、突出ブロック（１６）の上端から凹部（１４）までの肉厚は１．３ｍｍであり、突出ブロック（１６）の上端から削除基準面（１７）までの距離は０．７ｍｍであり、該削除基準面（１７）に沿って各突出ブロック（１６）を削除することにより、上蓋（１５）の厚さを０．６ｍｍにする。

又、図５及び図６に示すように、本考案に係るゴルフクラブヘッド（１０）は、上蓋（１５）の周縁（１１）の厚さがヘッド（１０）の他の部分と等しく、凹部（１４）に厚さが０，８ｍｍである複数のリブ（１３）が設けられることにより、上蓋（１５）の強度を補強する。
