However, if the clearance of the press die is adjusted or the die is worn, as shown in FIG. 8, punch burrs 8 are likely to be generated at the front end during punching by the press, and the burrs are slid. The opposing substrate is scratched during operation, causing abnormal wear, and the contact resistance is increased, thereby significantly deteriorating the contact reliability.

According to the strip material for punching a sliding contact of the present invention having the above-mentioned structure, the end face is previously formed in a round shape or a plate thickness.
Since the corners having inclined (tapered) portions at both ends are formed and the contact portions are formed, no burrs are generated at the tip. In addition, since the end face is punched as a contact portion, it is possible to use a strip having a minimum width as compared with the conventional one, which is advantageous in terms of efficiency, yield, and cost. Furthermore, since the end face is formed by the band material, deburring is not required as in the related art, and the productivity is high without deformation. It should be noted that, as shown in FIG.
In addition to mechanical processing such as compression molding and cutting molding, chemical and mechanical polishing are appropriately performed. Of course, a composite (cladding) band joined at the end faces is also effective.
Furthermore, the present invention is also applied to the tip of an insertion / extraction connector as a sliding contact.

As is evident from the above results, according to the sliding contact punching band material of the present invention, the round end or the corner is formed in advance and the portion is formed as the contact portion. As a result, no burrs are generated at the tip end, so that a stable sliding contact can be obtained without abnormal wear, and since the end face is punched as a contact portion, efficiency and yield are good. Has an excellent effect.
