【従来の技術】
従来、箸本体に漆を塗布した箸としては、特開平７−１１６０４９号公報で開示される箸が知られている。

この箸は、木，竹等からなる箸本体のほぼ全面に、生漆等からなる人体に無害な漆層を形成するとともに、箸先部以外の適宜部分の漆層に、合成樹脂塗料層を形成したものである。これにより、箸先部に、人体に無害な漆層のみが形成され、箸先部以外の適宜部分における漆層上に合成樹脂塗料層が形成される。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上述した従来の箸は、箸本体のほぼ全面に漆層を形成し、この上に合成樹脂塗料層を形成したため、次のような不具合があった。

第一に、箸本体に木材等の天然素材を用いた場合、天然素材のほぼ全面が漆により覆われてしまうため、天然素材の持つ自然で素朴な良さを十分に生かすことができない。

第二に、箸本体の上部（手で持つ部位）が合成樹脂塗料層或いは漆層により被覆されるため、手に持った際における天然素材の感触を得れないとともに、滑りやすいなど、良好なグリップ感を得ることができない。

本考案は、このような従来の技術に存在する課題を解決したものであり、天然素材の持つ自然で素朴な良さを十分に生かすことができるとともに、手に持った際における天然素材の感触及び滑りの無い良好なグリップ感を得ることができる箸の提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段及び実施の形態】
本考案は、箸本体２，２に漆３…を塗布した箸１，１を構成するに際して、箸本体２，２を天然素材により形成し、箸本体２，２における先端部２ｓ…から長手方向中間部２ｍ…までの所定の下部範囲Ｚｏにのみ漆３…を塗布するとともに、残りの上部範囲Ｚｒ…に天然素材の地肌Ｎが現れるようにしたことを特徴とする。この場合、好適な実施の形態により、天然素材には、檜木Ｍを用いることが望ましい。

【実施例】
次に、本考案に係る好適な実施例を挙げ、図面に基づき詳細に説明する。

図１は、本実施例に係る箸１，１を示す。なお、同図に示す一組の箸１，１は、基本的に同じものであるため、説明は一方の箸１についてのみ行う。

箸１は、箸生地の素材として檜木Ｍを使用し、この檜木Ｍにより箸本体２を製作する。この場合、箸本体２は、先端部２ｓから長手方向中間部２ｍまでの所定の下部範囲Ｚｏの断面を正方形に形成し、中間部２ｍから先端部２ｓへ行くに従って漸次細くなるように、角錐状に形成するとともに、残りの上部範囲Ｚｒの断面を正方形に形成し、長手方向において同一の断面積となるように、角柱状に形成する。この際、箸本体２における角部分は、面取りすることにより、所定のＲ（アール）を付し、このＲの度合は、先端部２ｓへ行くに従って大きくする。したがって、先端部２ｓ及びその付近における断面は、円形に近づけることが望ましい。また、箸本体２における下部範囲Ｚｏと上部範囲Ｚｒの比率は、概ね半々程度に選定することが望ましい。なお、図１において、Ｘｒは、上部範囲Ｚｒにおける円Ｃｒ部分の断面図、Ｘｓは、下部範囲Ｚｏにおける円Ｃｓ部分の断面図をそれぞれ示す。

一方、本考案に従って、箸本体２の下部範囲Ｚｏには、漆３を塗布する。この場合、漆３は、下部範囲Ｚｏにのみ塗布し、残りの上部範囲Ｚｒには塗布しない。即ち、上部範囲Ｚｒには、透明ニス等のいかなる塗料も塗布せず、箸本体２の地肌Ｎがそのまま現れるようにする。実施例は、檜木Ｍを用いたため、上部範囲Ｚｒとなる箸本体２の上半部には、檜木Ｍの有するナチュラル色の木目（地肌Ｎ）が直に露出する。

なお、箸本体２の上部範囲Ｚｒには、必要により、模様や文字等の焼印Ｓを付すことができる。檜木Ｍの場合、ナチュラル色の地肌Ｎが現れるため、焼印Ｓを付すことにより、模様や文字等をくっきりと表すことができる。この場合、塗料等は塗布しないため、外観性や感触、さらにはグリップ感を低下させることはない。

このような本実施例に係る箸１によれば、箸本体２を、檜木Ｍ（天然素材）により形成し、箸本体２における先端部２ｓから長手方向中間部２ｍまでの所定の下部範囲Ｚｏ、即ち、箸本体２の長手方向略半分にのみ漆３を塗布するとともに、残りの上部範囲Ｚｒには、檜木Ｍの地肌Ｎが現れるようにしたため、檜木Ｍの持つ自然で素朴な良さを十分に生かすことができる。また、手に持った際における檜木Ｍの感触を得ることができるとともに、滑りの無い良好なグリップ感を得ることができる。

以上、実施例について詳細に説明したが、本考案はこのような実施例に限定されるものではなく、細部の形状，素材，範囲等において、本考案の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で任意に変更，追加，削除することができる。例えば、天然素材は、檜木Ｍが望ましいが、各種木材を適用できるとともに、竹等にも適用できる。

このように、本考案に係る箸は、箸本体を天然素材により形成し、箸本体における先端部から長手方向中間部までの所定の下部範囲にのみ漆を塗布するとともに、残りの上部範囲に天然素材の地肌が現れるようにしたため、天然素材の持つ自然で素朴な良さを十分に生かすことができるとともに、手に持った際における天然素材の感触及び滑りの無い良好なグリップ感を得ることができるという顕著な効果を奏する。
