前記の場合、消火筒内に挿入されたタバコの先端が消火筒下端を超えると酸欠状態が解消されて消火できなくなるので、従来、図7に示すように消火筒Pの下方にタバコTのそれ以上の通過を阻止する縮径部Nを設けることが公知であった。

しかしながら、上記の従来技術においては繰り返し消火を行ううちに、タバコから落下する灰が徐々に縮径部に堆積して、遂には消火筒の目詰まりを引き起し、灰が灰皿容器内に落下できなくなる問題が生じた。

この考案は以上の従来技術の問題点を解消することを目的として創作されたものであり、タバコを挿入可能な筒状の消火筒を灰皿容器内に垂設した灰皿において、消火筒の内壁の対向位置に長手方向を筒の全長方向に一致させた一対の突条を突設したことを特徴とする。

【考案の実施の形態】
以下、この考案の具体的実施例を添付図面に基づいて説明する。図1はこの考案の灰皿の全体を示す図である。この実施例においては灰皿は容器状の灰皿容器1と、これを被蓋する蓋体10からなり、蓋体10は灰皿容器1に対して揺動自在に設けられる。尚、図中符号6は蓋体の係止を行う操作部材、11は夜間に発光する蓋体の底板である。

一方、消火筒3の内壁の中途の対向位置には長手方向を筒の全長方向に一致させた一対の突条4、4が突設される。これらの突条は図5に示すようにタバコTのそれ以上の進入を阻止するためのものであるが、力のいれ具合によってはこれらを乗り越えてタバコが更に進入して消火筒を突き抜けてしまうおそれがあるので、この考案においては突条にある程度の長さを持たせることによりタバコの乗り越えを防止している。具体的には突条の長さは3mmから15mmの範囲内であることが望ましい。又、この実施例においては突条の上端は上方に向かって幅狭となる形状としている(図2及び図5参照)。上記の形状としては、この実施例のような半円型の他、三角形、台形等が想定できる。

【考案の効果】
以上の構成よりなるこの考案の灰皿によれば、消火筒に挿入されたタバコは一対の突条により一定限度以上の進入が防止されて確実な消火が実現される。そして、この場合、突条は長手方向を筒の全長方向に一致させたものが対向位置に一対配されるので、タバコの乗り越えは確実に阻止できる。即ち、図6に示すようにタバコTの先端は突条を乗り越えようとして凹陥状に変形T3するが、タバコは外周は紙巻き部T2により被覆されているので、紙巻き部T2は変形により矢印方向に引っ張られ、この場合、変形は一対の突条により対向位置に生じるので、紙巻き部T2は互いに反対方向に引っ張られることになり変形を阻止しようとする力が生じて乗り越えが困難になる。この場合、突条が単なる突起程度の場合は、上記の力により紙巻き部T2が破れてしまって、タバコの進入を許す結果となるが、実施例のように突条にある程度の長さを持たせることにより、力が一点に集中することがなくなるので、破れることが防止される。

一方、突条自体は長手方向を筒の全長方向に一致させているので、従来技術のように縮径部とした場合と異なり、消火筒の直径方向の面積を減少させる率は少なく、灰の落下を阻止することはないのでく、灰は突条に堆積することなく目詰まりが防止される。又、この場合、実施例のように消火筒を灰皿に対して垂直方向に垂設する共に、突条の上端を上方に向かって幅狭となる形状に設定することにより、突条に対して灰がより滑り落ちやすくなる効果が期待できる。
