自作用の一般市販のパソコン部品(いわゆるDOS/Vパーツ)を使用して、ノート型パソコンを組立てるケースの構造に関する。

タワー型(デスクトップ型)パソコンには、個人が自作用パソコン部品(以下、DOS/Vパーツ)を自由に選び、組立てられる種類がある。しかし、ノート型パソコンとして、DOS/Vパーツを組込むことのできるケースがなかった。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
DOS/Vパーツとして、現在市販のビデオカード(2)(グラフィックスカードとも云う)は、マザーボード(6)上の取付スロット(5)に垂直に刺込み取付けるようにできている。このためノート型パソコンの形状に組立てることができなかった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本考案のケースは、ビデオカード(2)をマザーボード(6)に対し、平行に取付けるため90度取付方向変換手段(3)を用意する。

【考案の実施の形態】
マザーボード(6)上の従来のビデオカード取付スロット(5)に刺し込み可能な端子部をもち、かつ取付スロット(5)と同じ規格(仕様)のコネクター(4)をハンダ付けなどで固定した90度変換のためのプリント基板(3)を設ける。このプリント基板(3)は10数ミリの高さで、製作可能なため、ビデオカード(2)を挿入し、ノート型パソコンとして組上げた状態でもケースの厚みが気にならない。又マザーボードに直交のプリント基板(3)は、業界用語でライザカードということがある。

実施例について、図面の図1を参照して説明する。マザーボード(6)は、ノート型パソコンの部品収納用下箱部(7)の底面に図1のように固定する。電源部(8)やCD−ROM(9)などの部品も図のように固定する。上方に開いた部分は、液晶(LCD)パネルの収納上箱部(1)である。

マザーボード(6)上の従来のビデオカード取付スロット(5)に図2の刺し込み端子部(11)を挿入し、取付けたライザカード(3)とそれにハンダ付け固定したコネクター(スロット)(4)との角度が90度と直交するため、ビデオカード(2)は、マザーボード(6)と平行に取付けられるようになった。このため、自作用のDOS/Vパーツ類は、ケース下箱部(7)に収納可能となった。

【考案の効果】
従来の市販ノートパソコンは小型化が進み、携帯には便利だが、性能面でタワー型(デスクトップ型)パソコンより一段劣るのが、通常であった。本考案の構造を持つ自作用ノートケースが提供されることにより、3次元(3D)グラフィックスの性能や高性能機能のパーツ採用性能面でも見劣りしないノートパソコンが自作可能となるなどの効果を奏する。
