に収め、キャップにて保護しているので、キャップに台
風や鳥類による外圧が作用しても、外圧が係止体まで及
ぶことがなく、その結果、気象条件等に制約されること
なく、配電線端末を長期間に渡り安定に保持し得る。し
かも配電線端末に向けて嵌挿するだけで、面倒なテーピ
ングが不要であり、ワンタッチに取付け得るので、間接
活線工具による取付けに適している。また、係止体の支
持片は適宜間隔で設けてあり、支持片の挿入部が入口よ
り奥部に至るに従って順次小径となるから、一種類の端
末カバーを、最大太さの配電線から最小太さの配電線ま
でに兼用できる。即ち、太さの異なる配電線に共用し得
るため、大量生産して安価に提供できる。
